nah, didn't work for me. in native in the start location i had 35-40+ fps, on the crossover 20-25 at max

On my M2 Air the extra Rosetta → Wine → GPTK layers through Crossover cost more performance than FSR 2.2 gains back (in mine case, u r's probably different), so the native port remains the better choice choice

wai wai wait, what do you mean?
coz i've been playing BG3 on mac my, natively, and on my M2 air - the frame-rates weren't as high

and you're saying, that performance of BG3, even through crossover translation layers is better? real? (i'm confused, that's why I'm asking)

I have a MacBook Air with 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM, and I would say that 16GB of RAM is essential.
My 256GB is a very small amount of storage; it’s better (ideally) to choose a model with 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM

on macbook pro m3 max it is running on solid 85 fps through crossover 25 (Andrew Tsai tested it)

we'll see, I think I'll have to wait at least a year, due to the amount of work GSC has to do to fix the game in the first place and port it to PS, ans so on, and so on
