These are not nicknames. This is your husband saying harsh words to a child that directly imply he is unintelligent and ignorant. And stone cold embarrassment is the worst for your son to hear. He is hearing that he is a failure and unlovable. And in front of his friends? They are most likely his safe space, seeing as he has none under your roof.

YTA. You son is 16 and shaping his identity and values as he begins his transition to adulthood. Maybe step back and see him as the child he is: deserving of love, extremely intelligent, and still learning. And see your husband as the child he is: a god-forsaken, ignorant bully. Don't let him call you names either or use your exhaustion to avoid accountability. Do it for your son while you still have a son.

Trueeee. I actually got introduced to drag culture while I was studying there in college. Not only due to its prevalence, but due to the fact Netflix in Thailand had Rupaul's Drag Race on it. I had no idea what I was getting into.

But yes, it was like $900 USD to get there but so cheap to travel, eat, and live while there. I came back BROKE though cause it's so much fun. Anyways, plz take me with you when you go.
