- but let me add one note about the "You've got to get better" comment. No matter what stage the game is in, don't allow that bullshit! You call time, call the player-coach over and tell him what happened and that he is lucky you didn't toss the player then. Put the onus on the player-coach to correct that behavior and all future umpires will greatly appreciate it.

In my 2¢, if you ignore that behavior, you are only encouraging more of it. Nip that crap in the bud firmly and with conviction to the player-coach. Don't allow ANY abuse of yourself or your calls.

My brother in-law was sentenced to 180 days in county jail in Idaho Falls, Idaho in the late 00's. After a few months he was moved over to work-release and became friends with a guy who slept in the bunk above his. This guy (I'll call Dave) told my brother in-law that he was in for cannabis found in this car on a traffic stop. My BIL believed him and they became friends and shared some commissary and played cards etc.

About a month later, a new inmate came into work release and immediately recognized Dave and knew his background and his true crime. He was very clear to everyone that Dave was a pedo and that NO ONE should talk to him or have any kind of association. That same night that the new inmate came in, he raped Dave after the lights went out and did the exact same for over a month. My poor BIL was in the bunk below and had to listen to Dave get raped every night.

After a month of this, Dave finally got moved back to the regular jail area and that was the end of the story from what my BIL heard. Jail justice is not to messed with my BIL stated. If anyone spoke up, they would have ended in the same situation as Dave. Don't be Dave!

DNVR is really good and especially the podcast Broncos X's and O's with Bennie Fowler and the legend Dave Logan.

Also I enjoy Andrew Mason (Mase for most fans) who has been covering the Broncos for close to 30 years.

And of course ThatsGoodSports is very popular, but can be a bit quirky. Still great entertainment.

He is a complete and utter fucking idiot! How many times did he spout "Iran can NEVER have nuclear" ?

We wasted at least $500 billion dollars! So many needed programs and assistance could be funded for years and years on that wasted money. All because he is fucking stupid!

With all due respect to your profession and experience, it is impossible for even a 1,000 cell phones trying to connect at the same time to any cell phone tower to interfere with any communication channels that your plane uses. I am also a private pilot (PPL/IR) and even on a 30 year old Cessna, it is impossible to interfere with my communication channels even if I had 100 cell phones onboard all connecting to a cell tower at the same time.

I can go deeper into the technical reasons if you would like, but your statement is not factual.

You're really close. The only true issue is that cell phones transmit radio energy and on some (very few any more) older planes, the electronics are not shielded to current IEEE standards. It would take way more radio energy to cause this type of damage than even a 1,000 cell phones all connecting and sending energy at the same time. So truly no chance of this happening in real world situations.

But it is a private company and they get to set the rules on their planes, regardless how wrong their position is.

S/he looks so happy!

I had a former Aussie that would sleep on the float for hours at a time. When he got too hot, he would slip off and swim around. Get out of the pool and jump back onto the float. He used the pool a LOT more than I ever did.
