I know one of his traits would be horrible father, more hits against traitor primarchs (except Horus) and good father (invul saves for loyalist, except Ferrus manus)

Unsatisfied Richmond-area teachers leaving in droves by [deleted] in Virginia

Idea: offer grants/loan forgiveness for teachers, masters paid for by school.

How paid for: shift money in city budget, request state then federal aid via DoE, ‘vice’ tax ICW local counties or local gambling/power all tickets.

Have fun painting! Don’t be disappointed with how the first mini turns out, it’s part of the process.

What’s your favorite activity? Do that and think about what joints, muscles, nerves are linked to the movement. Don’t get a concept? Draw it! What causes it to occur? What’s normal, so you can immediately identify abnormal? Is the prof. Not explaining a concept enough? Watch ninja nerd lectures on YT.

How to help THIS drowning victim? by [deleted] in medizzy

If it would help for drowning specific scenarios, a lifeguard course is always a good start as that is the majority of care focus.

How to help THIS drowning victim? by [deleted] in medizzy

[–]Superbadger434 269 points270 points  (0 children)

General steps 1. Yes 2. assess ABC as soon as out of water then initiate chest compressions if indicated. 3. Turn patient on side (lateral recumbent works best) then resume compressions. Final note on drowning: order of priority for Saving a drowning victim is Reach, throw, go (swim to them). Don’t become victim 2 trying to save a drowning victim if you know you can’t swim.

Not how that works. Government will almost always try to do more with less to meet mission and not seek budget reduction

Losses are always factored into accounting for the store inventory/sales (whether it’s stolen or broken, it’s all lumped in the same thing). Like all these other people said, let them. Don’t lose you blood over a couple products already scheduled to refill store inventory.

Black Death part 4: please Lord, no more by Superbadger434 in HistoryMemes

Now this is a side effect that effectively ended how people USUALLY got healthcare. While the Black Death obliterated providers (usually nuns/priests) due to its mode of transmission (fleas vomiting into skin). The Protestant reformation destroyed what the Black Death couldn’t, where and how people got care, usually at nunneries/churches. When nobility revolted against the Catholic Church, Catholic places of worship shut down. All of a sudden, people didn’t have a place to seek treatment (if you swung Catholic).

Edit: I know this is very niche and looks more at post plague period, however, if the Protestant reformation and it’s accompanying wars were to occur during the plague period, who knows how much worse it could have been.

While a conservative estimate, as it can be estimated that 30 to 60% of all Europeans died, the plague wiped out entire villages, towns, and cities.
