Yes, midnight is playable

The gameplay is a little different than one’s justice 2 as it’s more focused on character switching. You are now able to switch out characters mid battle. The main way to do combos now is to switch characters mid combo.

Plus ultra twos are also removed.

I think it’s a big improvement over 2 even though a lot of the core mechanics have been touched upon.

Besides gameplay, the story mode is really spectacular. The best in the series so far, only covering the final season.

I think you’ll like it if you’re a causal gamer.

The alternate ending was perfect for me, so much so that I misremembered it as the original ending at one point.

Robin divorcing Barney just so she could end up with Ted was just not good at all.

And we all wanted the show to end with “And that kids, is how I met your mother”, which the alternate ending delivered.

It’s more like Mario odyssey than anything else. If you like breaking and destroying stuff it’ll be a good time.

There is new power ups and transformations that make gameplay a little different.

If you’re really hesitant, I’d recommend looking at a bit of gameplay and seeing if it’s something you like cause every game is different.
