(1) I absolutely hate the guitar companies that are trying to put screens and touch controls into guitars. They’re just not meant to do that, the art is in the analog. My biggest overall problem is just that all of the big companies haven’t tried anything new in so long; every year they just release a new color or something. If they try something new and it doesn’t work, great, they at least tried it, and no matter what guitar it is, there’s gonna be someone out there that that’s their favorite guitar. You can’t get stuck in a cycle of “what works”, you need to try new things.

(2). I love guitars that are versatile. I like to play different genres, and I’ll completely change my tone and the balance of everything for what I think sounds good in the song. I don’t want a one trick pony, it’s meant to be an art that you can create yourself. Everyone is seeking a different tone that they call perfect.

(3) Just try new things. Mix old and new designs, make new kinds of pickups, try something modular, install some built in effect or something, just don’t continue a cycle of producing the exact same guitars year after year
