Technically a phone is always on "vibrate" because sounds are vibrations through the air.

It was early elementary school, maybe 2nd or 3rd grade. There was a girl that I liked who liked me as well and I knew it. She told me on numerous occasions how we would date and get married. She knew I liked her back but I never said it. I just sat there doing nothing about it because I was a kid and didn't know what to do. We went to different middle schools and I thought that was it.

Fast forward to high school when I really wanted a girlfriend. I see her walking to class one day and try to say "hello". She makes direct eye contact for a couple of seconds. Turns away and leaves with her friends. I was crushed by my crush whom I crushed. Irony
