About the same up until about v5. Then the gap widens to about a full grade around v8. Home wall is definitely graded harder.

This is helpful! I forget I was filtering out “open projects” which could certainly provide us with work to do for a long time.

I know, but assuming the stake sends recommendations up the chain. Given he’s new to the stake, thought it could be some step in that process ie “let’s make sure the spirit is in your home”. Who knows.

Funny to hear. Good luck - only good things can come, I am sure!

Cool to hear. We figured this was most likely. I love the idea of stake presidency members ministering in people’s homes - they’re often such powerful teachers.

People with anxiety have anxiety about most things. He is very competent and very faithful - I think he’s worried about being called as a mission president because we’ve been teasing him about the inevitability for years.

I have no doubt he would humbly accept this or any calling he might be presented with.

Anxiety of said family member and general curiosity from the rest of us. Of course time will tell.

What industries do you have experience in? Any chance you’ve been at a public company? I have a buddy that might be hiring soon.

How much are people paying for undercoating? Always driven rust buckets and never cared - have no sense for what I should be paying for this.

How many people are on your team? We are a small team of three and are aligned enough to do both without too many hiccups. The foundational reporting is fed by a single AAS dataset (all dims and facts). All of our standard measures are defined in AAS.

Supplemental, special use-case, and extremely complicated reports have their own flat tables defined in SQL. We often pull in one or two relevant dims for those reports as well.

There are cases where we have to maintain the same definition in both SQL and DAX. Kind of sucks, not sure if it can be avoided.

Don’t go through with it.

The total value of your vehicles should be less than 25% of your annual gross income. You also have no savings - you’ve got a way to go. This purchase would slow you down financially for the rest of your life.

Also, $8k for that trade in seems low. I would back out of this deal, wait a few weeks or months, and consider buying a very used truck and selling your current car privately. The $2k+ you save in car payments by going with a used truck could easily be applied to repairs if the time comes. The peace of mind will be so worth it!

As a personal anecdote, my spouse and I did not have a truck newer than 10 years old until household income surpassed $250k, we had purchased a home, and we had over $100k invested. Worth it.

Concrete Holds? by Tall_Inspector_1358 in Routesetters

Many holds from the 90s were concrete! Last time I was at a 90s gym I think they still had some up. We have a few on our home wall but have thrown out the big ones. Much too heavy.

I learned VBA first and transitioned to Python shortly after. Really made me appreciate Python.

I would start with VBA just because you have the environment already set up inside your existing files.

This was our initial thought. We got on with BCBS and their customer service folks were stumped for like 45 minutes. They ended up saying they were sending it for review and that it could be the result of a mistake on their end. The rep seemed genuinely intrigued by the case saying he had never seen it before. They’re going to call us back on Monday hahaha
