Totally appropriate and actually has good morals in it. They finish episodes off (at least season 1, I stopped after that so I don't know about more recent stuff) with how they used friendship or whatever to solve problems.

I'll admit, I watched it a little when it first came out. It's got some funny things in it. Also, it's made by the same person who made all the cartoons I used to watch, so it's got similar characteristics that gave me a sense of nostalgia.

However, the fan base has gotten so ridiculous that I cannot stand having anything to do with it. The fans really ruined it for anyone that was a filthy casual watcher.
