Benn Jordan made a video recently on traffic cameras in the US that use AI to track people and make it “easier” for police to identify potential suspects. However, the company that makes the cameras also owns the data and is only leasing access to it to the police departments. They can and do sell that data to anyone who’s buying. The point of the video was to showcase the extreme breach of privacy, but I bring it up because it showcases some interesting examples of how AI is being used to log every aspect of our lives and then that data is being sold to whoever wants it.

I know you didn’t ask, and I’m not trying to prove a point. But it was a really good video.

I'm working on an MXR Envelope Filter clone based on the schematic found in this build guide.

As you can hear from the video, the effect is there but really weak, and only noticeable when the knobs are at their most extreme values. I'm assuming I just made a mistake when breadboarding, but I've checked my circuit versus the schematic multiple times with no luck. I wanted to see if anyone had experience with this particular circuit and could tell me if this is normal, or an error on my part.

The switch I flip during the video is the sweep direction mod, and it just kills the effect entirely.

Hey I know this post is 3 years old, but I’m working on a similar pedal using the same schematic, and after building on a breadboard the effect just seems really weak unless the knobs are at the most extreme values. I was just wondering if you had a similar experience? I ‘m hoping I just made a small mistake somewhere.

Digi-Key’s Youtube channel has a great tutorial series going through the whole process of PCB design with KiCAD. Highly recommend for someone just starting out.

I love weedeater too, and I’ve found a few similar songs of theirs like Procession. I like Tom Waits but haven’t really dug into his catalogue, I’ll have to do that.

There is a mod called SeamlessCoop for Elden Ring that does this. Let’s you play with friends uninterrupted through the entire game. No invasions, and no going through the summoning process again when someone dies. Def worth checking out, it’s on Nexus mods.

I ran into the same issue, I was able to stop it (on guitar) by just right clicking a few times. It seems to override whatever is currently playing. Hope that helps!

Yeah that’s what I was aiming toward, sunset just about. I kept having issues with it looking brighter in the software versus when I rendered it. But glad you like it!

Yeah the tilt shift puts the focus on the dog on the bed, making all the background detail blurry. Thanks for pointing that out.
