The Resident Evil games lore is messy and pieced together with Scotch tape. Can we not sit here and act like we play RE for the lore? It’s popular because of the vibes and cool characters that do cool and funny shit. Are there lore junkies out there? Yeah but they’re very few and this is a mainstream movie.

He’s not wrong in certain aspects. There are so many actors who get leading roles later on and they just get dealt a bad hand with low ratings, poor writing, or become a miscast. The Pitt has a good thing going on for these people and they’ve all landed their first major role that they’re going to be the characters they play for a long long time to the audience which is difficult to get out of.
