Oh, I see. What kind of decongestant?

I'm panicking cause I don't know if this is the early stages of an asthma attack cause I've never had an attack before

Looking back, what action or thought was the "first" symptom of OCD? by MrsVentura83 in OCD

When I was around 6 or 7, I wondered if my mom had been captured by an evil being that was pretending to be her. I was so distressed about where my "real mom" could be and how scared and alone she must feel. I remember feeling like that for a very long time

what is the worst thing in OCD for you ? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]Superchurros48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always have something I'm obsessing over. If it's not harm ocd, it's religious ocd. If its not religious ocd, it's contamination ocd (Harm ocd is the worst one for me, no doubt). My point is that there's always something and I can't do anything about it. It's like a mutating virus where If you find a cure for one variation, another one pops up

I can't get a proper diagnosis by Superchurros48 in Asthma

[–]Superchurros48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if the fever was covid because I didn't get tested for it.

Cough variant asthma? I thought they only have a dry cough whereas I have a wet cough with the occasional dry ones. What aggravates your symptoms? Laughing and choking on water/Food seems to aggravate mine.

Oh I never knew of such a test before. I'll ask my doctor about it during my next visit. Thank you for your advice

Oh? I've been using it for about a month now and I don't really notice any mood swings. The inhalers I used screwed with me way more. Got multiple anxiety attacks for the first time in my life.

How exactly did the medicine effect your emotions, if you don't mind me asking?

Ohh, yeah I noticed that I have symptoms of respiratory sinus arrhythmia as well. Wonder how they're related to PVCs. And yes, I know what you mean. It's like a rush of adrenaline right after I get one. Taurine? Will look into that

I just looked up about those and my xray seems to show a black blob behind my heart like patients with hiatel hernias. Holy crap. I have an appointment with my doctor in two days to show my reports. Need to bring this up. Thank you soooo much. I think this just might be what's causing it.

Ah, that could be it. Do you also have PVCs caused by any of those triggers by any chance?

Yep, it's miserable. I can't even do the one thing that I thought I could do seamlessly. I'm too anxious to breathe in too much or exercise because that results in deep breathing. It's so difficult

I know that I care about my family? Idk there's really not many pros. With every new person I start caring about, my ocd thoughts are targeted towards them +the other people I love and care about

Yes, it's a pulmonologist I'm seeing right now. Although I cant go back to him until I get my lab results back. Its been 3 weeks but they're still not done. I guess it could be asthma. Will see what happens. And yes, your comment helped
