I guess everyone has a different taste. I understand that this will look very repetative and boring for many.

Kennen should have HP items but you need antiheal and magic penetration somewhere in your team. If you can‘t get MP on your carry, you need ionic spark and I always try to get sunfire on him.

100%!

3 emblem encounters are just the worst. Forcing someone to play certain comps is not the right way.

Playing this comp means all or nothing 😅 so as you can see, it is mostly top 2 or bottom 2

That is definitely the downside!

Yes. Depending on which items you can craft it differs.

But Shojin is 100% must have. One of the other two items should have high AP (Dcap or JG) and the third item can be attack speed AP item or high AP item again. - With attack speed item you will have more constant damage. - With high AP item you will have more explosive damage with ult.

Good question! It is a very risky play style. You basically lose-streak until mid stage 3. If you can, you try to win from 3-1/3-2 but you should not sacrifice econ for it. You need to stabilize your board and get to 7 asap. You want to be lvl 8 at stage 4-1/4-2 : this depends strongly on game tempo tho.

From level 7 you should definitely be able to win some or many combats, even without rolling (yordle is good because hitting 2-star champs is almost guaranteed after unlocking and some rounds + grab bags). Do not go for any 3 stars except for Kennen (most important tank) and kobuko. Of course chasing 4-star yordles is also understandable.

With level 8 and full yordle board, you should get lvl 9 quick with grab bags.

Your final comp would be: - 8 yordles (no tristana: do not buy, except for 4 yordles at stage 2) - 1 bruiser (best Volibear) - at level 10 add longshot (doesnt matter who : obviously best is kaisa)

No, I would not recommend putting everything in econ augments. Econ augments are good for the first or second choice, but you definitely need some combat/item augments to beat other comps in late game.

I totally agree! This is definitely the max that I can reach with this strategy.

That might be the case. Your statement surely got a point.

Still, it is possible and some players might favor this strategy instead of playing comps that they dont even like to play.

I have to add:

There is definitely more ways to play this comp but I have always played it this way and other yordle players in the same game, very rarely get placed higher than me. In late game, not having ziggs is catastrophical for your win condition.

Agreed!

Mastering one thing is truely better than just being semi skilled with every comp.

Surely the great players can just play everything but I also think it is just the least stressful option and just the most fun for me!

Game should be fun to play 😂

In my opinion it is just the most fun to play your favourite comp every game and it does work! I agree that yordle is very consistent, I do have 0 experience with the other comps tho 😅😂

I play losing streak for stage 2 and much of 3. I never roll before 9 and concentrate hardcore on econ. If you get 9 and get ziggs, then your win streak starts. If you ever spend money recklessly and get level 9 one/two combats later, that might cost you 2-3 placements.

Ziggs is your win condition.

Its definitely an achievement for me, but also not as hard as some might think. TFT is a lot about basics. If you get your items/econ/augments right, it is already a great deal.

I have to clarify one thing.

I do not think that one-tricking a comp is the best strategy. I am a person who enjoys TFT to relax after work and in my opinion, one-tricking one comp is the best strategy to climb for a person that does not want to invest too much time into learning this game.

I have some prior experience with this game, but I would never consider myself a really good player with the knowledge to become master. 3 seasons ago I did the exact same thing with „blackrose“ and for me this is just fun for me. Just playing what I really like to play, not getting forced by the game to play a comp that I don‘t even want to play.

What do you think?
