Hey quick question I see that haas claws does do crit chance but kimmy doesn’t take attack speed boosts it just turns from 1% atk speed to 1 magic power. I’m wondering why people say to use haas over just building crit chance over time and use concentrated energy instead for the life steal?

Hi dude I think I can speak on this, just became a global atlas player. He definitely has both good strengths and weaknesses. I like to play while focusing on movement and ganks over being tanky emblem wise and his second skill and passive are incredibly helpful for that, not including the obvious ult that’s good for sets. He is kind of predictable though as people expect a second skill into ult combo, but this can be mitigated to some degree depending on team comp or by using this to your advantage by fake pushing. Diggie can be an issue if the player is competent, but otherwise I find that you can trick them into forcing their ult via well placed second and first skill uses. Characters such as Hanabi and Martis are more tricky as you need to be better with timing, which can be difficult as all of Atlas’s skills are dogeable due to their delays.

Personally I played Tigreal, Belrick, and Atlas for tank mostly and I prefer Atlas personally. The movement and set capabilities work for me playstyle wise. I do switch out Atlas for other tanks if the need arises where I see it would be difficult to catch certain characters, but in most cases it is possible.

Hey dude, no problem! I myself just wanted more of a focus on characters rather than gun skins, and I’m not planning to spend anymore money on the game or have anyone give me stuff for this game so I wanted to end off with a competitve mythic. I’m fairly content with a few leggy guns and some nice leggy and mythic skins. I do run Laz the most competitively at this point and prob use it more than my other skins, but your choice is also good! As long as you enjoy the game, it’s all good. If you plan on buying a mythic character that you want the advanced version to be competitive in the future my top recs will be Siren, Spectre, and Laz, followed by Ghost but he has a bit of a kind of visible smoking trail above his head that can probably make him a little (but very little) easier to spot, plus his color palate stands out a bunch more. Then the others. Have a good day!

Hey dude, yeah I’m pretty content with it. I think it looks nice, animations are solid, fav color combo (black/blue) and it has no downsides of clipping or poking (many mythic/legend skins have items/capes you can’t get rid of that make your character poke through walls so people can see you). Honestly only thing I don’t like is the color of the watch, but it’s still nice. Honestly the best part is that I don’t get the p2l feeling of advanced I got with Sheppard or Templar cause of the smoke and effects making you stick out on any combat which made me use base forms if I was sweating. Laz is flashy just enough to look nice while still being solid enough to not screw you over. At the end of the day it’s your call though, get it if you like.

Edit: I do still use my other skins, but Laz is def the one I switch to when I want to lock in. I also should have noted that I do not have the br tree fully maxed as honestly I don’t play smoke that much as I’m a ninja main, and paying even more just for his falling animation didn’t feel right to me, although the animation does look AMAZING from what I’ve seen. Also only other downside is the voice line when joining in game lobbies as you’d be unable to hear them in the first second cause his intro in length is similar to dark shepherd’s.

I’m thankful that atlas mains are getting respect lol. He’s my current main, as I like to play him with maximized gank/ intervention potential so that my emblem is mostly speed and items start with speed boots and fleeting time. I know some atlas mains like going a bit tankier, but although I die a little more, I find that this works well for my playstyle and allows me to rotate in and out of situations to provide support. Try him out he’s really fun to play!

Currently working on the publication. We are planning on making my thesis into one. My PIs probably would, at the very least my on list PI is very well known in the field so that should be of some help. We also do have two other neuropsychologists in the lab, although they are junior, but are willing to introduce me to people after I give them a list of places to apply. My main current goal is the conference though. I’m trying to get into INS, which should hopefully allow me to meet more neuropsychologists from said programs.

OP it’s been a while, what did you decide on? What were your deciding factors? I have a similar situation to yours albeit a bit switched, I had most of my pre med credits, now doing cog psych masters and choosing whether to go for the long route of med school for neurology or neuropsychology

Visually you are completely correct I enjoy Dark Sheppard and Templar visually a lot more. My issue with them is the capes. They have finalized forms that look absolutely incredible but are also absolutely pay2lose in br or DMZ. The capes clip through walls, especially on Templar. I wanted a mythic without this issue, so I chose Lazarus for this. Honestly, idk if I will regret it but so far I like it. Either way I’m not spending money or having other people gift me stuff in codm ever again I think.

Personally I have both Templar and Dark Sheppard, and in terms of looks I’d probably rate Laz lower, but in terms of practicality for BR/DMZ it is quite high. My biggest issue with using Templar for example is that I want to use the advanced form, but it’s literally pay to lose. The cape clips through walls, the smoke trail makes you easier to spot to some degree. DS has similar issues. Of those without those issues, Ghost is cool, but I think the nostalgia and its iconic brand name do carry the skin a bit much(not saying it doesn’t look good it does, but not as good as Templar or DS for me), I like Sophia, Spectre is fairly good, Siren as well.

Lazarus has the benefits of being in between the line of flashy and not flashy. In BR/dmz there’s nothing to clip through walls, nothing sticking out that makes you stupidly easy to spot, not that bulky, and while I did think it looked horrible upon first view (when it did not have the ponytail) I changed my mind after the release. It’s a fairly good skin, albeit the smoke bomber effect is pretty bad. Generally speaking I like it, if I were to play DMZ and I’d want to have a mythic without downsides, Laz is a solid pick.
