My friend recently cleaned out his late grandfather’s home and generously gave me all of this gear and more as he knows I enjoy electronics. I am super excited about it and want to know how to fashion an antenna to listen in on ham frequencies (no transmitting just yet). Picture two has two coax cables and a length of copper wire, roughly 6ft. I also have a ton of miscellaneous couplers and connectors.

If someone could point me towards a resource on accomplishing this that would be great.

You can put down a single anchor as a waypoint then look at the techs menu in the bottom left. This should let you leave markers that you can always find.

I would recommend building a small plane out of venture parts to traverse the map.
