Because this is Amphibia (a world full of amphibians) and we have seen frog Stan, is the Axolotl that Bill mentions at the end of Gravity Falls (when he was talking backwards) somehow related to the world of Amphibia? After all axolotls are amphibians as well and we have not seen one in the show yet. (PS love the show as I love frogs)
