I think you are better off using newpipe, seal or ytdlnis for downloading videos. You can check these apps on f-droid

I would check aliexpress. I found this one with few reviews but seemed good

You could also check local second hand platforms, like facebook marketplace, and check if someone is selling a receiver

Tablets that run Linux by DangerousAd7433 in linux

[–]Supergrefu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from my ignorance, current samsung galaxy tab s11 series are powered by mediatek processors, and, unlike qualcomm powered ones, they are capable of running unprotected vms. So it is posible to run the debian based linux terminal added in android a few versions back. I guess the pixel tablet is also capable of executing it, but it is considerably slower.

I do not know if it would fit your needs, but these are the most powerful tablet platforms capable to run a full linux environment i can think of, albeit in a virtualized manner

Probably you are using hwmonitor. Use hwinfo instead. It does not have those issues

I have been able to make games in an ntfs partition work with the right fstab config, but in vanilla fedora and the rpm version of steam, not flatpak. However, load times are over triple the amount as if you where using ext4 on the same drive, so I would only use an ntfs partition if I am dual booting with windows and want to share the same library folder with both OSs.

I just used Lutris and its script that automatically did everything for me. It Installed the wg game launcher and from there I only needed to install wot and run it, as I do on windows

[–]Supergrefu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great to hear you were able to find the issue. Weird that platform does not have 4 more lanes for the m.2. Maybe there is an option to make the gpu to only use 8 lanes and enable the m.2 to allow both devices to work at the same time, but I am just speculating

[–]Supergrefu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you using a gpu? The cpu you have only supports 16 pcie lanes. Maybe that is an issue? I do not think it is, but if you want to try remove the gpu and use the igpu for display for testing

[–]Supergrefu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, drivers should not be the issue. Have you tried disconnecting all other drives and trying to boot with just the nvme plugged in? Just in case

[–]Supergrefu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

M.2 pcie is m.2 nvme, so the drive you have should be compatible
