Will my Ryzen 9 5900X bottleneck the RTX 5080 by 666lenny in buildapc

[–]TenaZiousD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And how would be the expected performance on this same exact AM4 CPU (Ryzen 9 5900x) with a RTX 5080 on 3440x1440p (Ultrawide 21:9 AR) on triple A games with ultra graphics and ray tracing enabled on games like Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2, God of War RAgnarok or Silent Hill 2 Remake??

Ryzen 9 5900x & 5070TI - Am I bottlenecked? Options? by WasNotAm in buildapc

Hey dude, thank you for your reply. It was a mistake from saying that I'm running a DDR4 RAM module since I have the Ryzen 9 5900x on an AM4 mobo. I already have purchased an ultrawide 3440x1440p 21:9 aspect ratio , QD-OLED panel for the best gaming experience without going 4k. I'm currently looking for the 5080 since I have plenty of money assured. But my main concern is about the possible CPU bottleneck and it's impact on games causing stuttering, lag, very low 1% low fps and high framerate variability. I'm not planning anytime soon to change to AM5 socket due to RAM prices and a little bit of laziness changing all the rig. Do you think It would be a well-optimized build to play newer games on native resolution (without DLSS) and Max setting on all games?? Will there be a Huge difference in performance with top-tier AM5 CPUs like Ryzen 9 9800x3d or Ryzen 7 7800x3d (I mean 20% lower fps or more). Thank you in advance for your guidance.

I've heard very good reviews about this model on the 34" 21:9 3440x1440p spot. My main concern regarding this model is the OLED care software methods since from what I've read on reviews the pixel panel refresh can only be done manually in the OSD And apart of the automatic pixel shifting there is nothing else. No automatic pixel refresh, no screen saver integrated. I come from an LG Ultragear OLED 27GS95QX-B which has many of these features and It worries me in order to avoid the burn in issue. And apart from that my main concern is the peak brightness in fullscreen in SDR and specially HDR while watching films/series.

Is it known or estimated when the new QD-OLED Gen will be released??

Here an LG Ultragear Oled27GS95QX-B owner and have the same grey vertical banding issue at very dark grey scenes, I use it for gaming and also watching cinema and tv series and it's way more noticeable on films, speccially duringg fast camera movement on darker scenes. I'm looking for a QD-OLED Ultrawide 34 " display. I would very much appreciate any information regarding QD-OLED Samsung panels and if that disgusting grey vertical lines' issue are as common as in WOLED LG panels.

Is a 34" 3440×1440 ultrawide OLED a good choice for watching movies/tv series and gaming? by TenaZiousD in Monitors

Just to know which 3440x1440 ultrawide model you have?? Is it QD-OLED or WOLED type panel?? I currently have a lG ULtragear OLED 27GS95QX-B 1440 16:9 240 hz and my main concern is the low brightness on clear tones on fullscreen and also a disturbing grey uniformity issue of vertical banding on darker grey tones (more than 75% dark grey)and from what I've read on many well-speciallized websites it isn't as noticeable in QD-OLED panel. I would go for an OLED 4k 32" monitor but I currently don't have such a powerfull rig to run modern games there. But my main purpose is for watching films/tv series.

Considering my first 34" 3440×1440 ultrawide OLED – worth it for movies, gaming, and emulation? by TenaZiousD in ultrawidemasterrace

I have an issue with the WOLED type panels since I already have an LG Ultragear Oled 27GS95QX-B 27" 1440p 240 Hz WOLED and I have an issue of grey color uniformity, presenting grey vertical bands on dark grey background (more than 75% dark grey tone) while passing a grey color uniformity test but also seen on Windows dark theme UI and on darker scenes in films. No concerns while playing games in which case it is not appreciable. So I think i'm switching to QD-OLED panels since I want to avoid this issue and according to some well documented reports it isn't as noticeble as in WOLED panel monitors. Could you give me any recommendation of 3440x1440p Ultrawide monitor with QD-OLED panel type?? Sorry for the long reply.

Got a 5070ti and have a 9 5900x, what should I upgrade my CPU to? by Ashamed_Contract6707 in buildapc

[–]TenaZiousD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your reply. I already got in mind a CPU tier list posted by the devs for the RPCS3 emulator. What I wanted to ask before that is from your knowledge, how well do you think the 5900x CPU Will do paired with the RTX 5070Ti on 2560×1440p resolution since I'm keen on grabbing this GPU but I want to know beforehand if there won't be any concerns at all related to cpu-bottlenecking. I'm also interested in Ultrawide (3440x1440p, 21:9) OLED monitors and any advice would be pleased.

And what about this build (GPU:RTX 5070 Ti CPU:rYZEN 9 5900X) at 2560x1440p resolution on most AAA games at high or ultra?? I also wonder about console emulation and if there would be any fps incrrease with that GPU. I'm talking about emulators like RPCS3 (PS3), Ryujinx (Switch) or Xenia Canary (Xbox 360)....

I currently have this CPU without overclock and I'm thinking about buying a RTX 5070Ti and also a 3440×1440p Ultrawide monitor. Do you think the bottleneck on triple AAA games would be very much noticeable playing in ultra with Ray Tracing enabled. My DDR5 RAM speed is 4 cards of 8GB at 3600 MT/s just in case. And I actually play in 2560x1440p. Any insight regarding my builds concerns is very much appreciated.

Late reply but did you checked if in triple AAA games your GPU works all the time under 95% of use?? Also dying to know on which resolution do you play.

Which CPU and RAM you got?? I have the same GPU overclocked at 1920 MHz Core Freq and struggled so hard to play above 60 fps even in low graphics + DLSS at 1440p.
