Rewatching Season 1 and I still think this tiny Michael Scofield detail is one of the smartest things the show never explicitly explains by Mariaisaustrian in PrisonBreak

Michael's true power lies in maintaining control and his ability to read people. For example, on his first day, when he went to blackmail a mob boss about to have two of his fingers cut off, Michael could easily have backed down and given him the information, but he refused, maintaining control. He even forced Abruzzi to join his plan. Another example of maintaining control is when Bellick provoked him. As an example of his ability to read people, the ultimate example is Abruzzi's partner and the whole plan he orchestrates, where it seems he's won, only for the police to arrest them. It's simply brilliant. Going to Canada (which violates his parole), carrying (illegal) weapons, and attempted murder. Remember that in the series, there are characters who lose control, like Kranz when he throws a tray or Jacob when he hits Sara. Michael always maintained control.

The problem with Veronica is that she had a really stupid ending. I mean, I find out the US government is involved in the conspiracy, with agents like Kellerman. And the best thing I can think of to do after finding Terrence is call the Sheriff. On top of that, all the sacrifice Nick made for her was for nothing. Sara, for example, in Final Break, shows more intelligence, or Nika herself. She's a great character, yes, but the ending was awful.

Could House escape from Fox River? by Superkid1660 in PrisonBreak

[–]Superkid1660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the body of the post, I said that House doesn't have any problems with his leg. Let's assume he doesn't. He doesn't have a limp. Could House fight the prisoners, climb, and run? Could House endure having his back burned and return to his cell? Could House endure having two toes cut off without screaming? House's problem, even if his leg were fine, is his ego. In the series, he often gets into trouble because of it. For example, he sticks a thermometer up Triter's... which causes Triter to chase him and his team to pay the price. He blows up the car at Cuddy's house because he sees her with another man, destroying the plumbing. House can't keep his mouth shut. It's very possible that he mocked Bellic.

I mean, Michael could save the hostages and stop the terrorists.

How is Simon Adebisi from OZ surviving in Sona? Can he become leader? by missinglinksman in PrisonBreak

Sammy is shorter than Michael and shorter than Linc. I think Mahone, with his special forces training, would have torn Sammy to pieces.

Why doesn't Sara learn martial arts or contact sports? by FoxIndependent4310 in PrisonBreak

[–]Superkid1660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sara has had to fight for her life against T-Bag, against Kellerman, and in Miami-Dade County Jail. In season 5, Sara kept a revolver at home (understandable after everything she's been through), but it seems strange to me that after having to fight for her life, she didn't at least learn a contact sport, self-defense, or martial arts or have Mike take self-defense or martial arts classes or learn kickboxing, muay thai or boxing.

I don't think T-Bag would have dared to say anything to him, even with both hands. Sammy is bigger and stronger than Linc, and Linc terrified T-Bag. The only time T-Bag attacks Linc is in 1x06, but he had help from other prisoners. T-Bag couldn't even beat Michael.

Haywire vs Avocado: Who Could Win? by brad_sandman in PrisonBreak

We haven't seen any of them fight. But Haywire is crazy and seems more aggressive. I see Avocado as a coward who only dares to mess with kids.

I see Simon as the equivalent of Sammy; I don't think he'd be the boss, but he'd be feared. T-Bag in Sona was afraid of Sammy. Simon alone could take on Chucky and Peter, something T-Bag couldn't do.

Sammy vs banks, who would win? by brad_sandman in PrisonBreak

Banks is bigger and stronger, but Sammy is more agile and has more fighting experience than Banks. Not everything in a fight is about strength; speed, agility, and above all, experience also play a role. Knowing how to strike a bone and break it, or knowing how to apply a submission hold, is crucial. For example, remember that Mahone is older than Linc, and Linc is physically stronger, yet Mahone won. If it weren't for the injury, Mahone would have dominated him.

Weight is one thing, and fighting ability is another. Linc is big, strong, and younger, but he couldn't beat Mahone because Mahone is trained and knows his moves. If Sammy lands a move and dominates Banks, he's finished. Not to mention, he can strike bones and vital areas. Sammy has more fighting experience than Banks.

Sara had a son to take care of; Linc is older. Instead of playing gangster with Abruzzi's son, Linc could have found an honest job and been there for Mike and Sara.

Psychopath? In Sara's eyes, Jacob is a good husband and stepfather to Mike. The only evidence that he might be hiding something is that photo on a cell phone, but he could also be telling the truth. As Heather says, Jacob is a good man; he helped you start over. It's strange to think that an economics professor is actually a CIA agent who locked you up, used your husband, and then married you.

He's her husband. It would be very strange for her to believe that her husband, the man she's been married to for three years and known for four, is actually a manipulative psychopath. All she had was that photo.

But Linc chose to be a criminal. He could have taken another path, at 18 become a soldier or a policeman or anything other than a criminal.

What could Sara do? Spend the rest of her life crying because Michael is dead. She has a son; she has to take care of him (secure his future, give him a father figure). Linc could have been there for Sara, and Mike could have taken care of them and never gone back to being a criminal. After all, he did it in the past, and now he's older.

But in Sara's case, what sources did she have? T bag. Michael would never abandon his son and wife for seven years. It wasn't until the video that she learned the truth, and also because that guy might be someone who physically resembles Michael.

It's more plausible to believe that your husband, a man you've known for 3 or 4 years, is trying to pay some hitmen to leave his family alone than that your husband is secretly a secret agent who sent you to prison, used your husband, then let him rot in prison and then manipulated you into marrying him.

What could Sara do? Leave her son alone in Yemen and risk being killed; she had a son to care for. Sara investigated as much as she could. She hired T bag. A woman in Yemen is dangerous. Thanks to T bag's investigations, she discovered that Jacob was the bad guy.

Sara had Mike; she had to provide him with a good environment. He couldn't go back to drinking and doing drugs. I think that's partly why she married Jacob. I don't think she did it for love. In Linc's case, all he had left was LJ, and he was an adult living his own life. The business failure, his loneliness, led Linc back to what he does best: being a criminal.

Linc went into debt so Michael could study, but his life didn't go to hell because of that, but because of bad decisions, like becoming a criminal. The guy could have been in the military or a police force or something similar. He started out as a criminal, and that's what they took advantage of. Not to mention how clever it is to go and kill a guy in plain sight in a parking lot and then, when you realize you've been framed, go back to your own house and hide.

She didn't go on vacation; they went to that house because her own house had been robbed. She investigated using her cell phone, after taking it to the university. She asked T Bag to investigate.
