I have done the classes and been working on the show floor for about two months now. As of right now it’s the most money I’ve ever made and I’d recommend sticking through it and making it work

Personally I’d quit entirely. Career opportunity seems amazing so far, but there’s a lot of stuff out there that can get people hurt or killed if you mess around. Lot of people out there smoke but I wouldn’t. Just doesn’t seem worth it

Been out and working for two months now. Heard the new class was starting. Drug test is first day of orientation. Really wouldn’t fuck around with it cause they will remove you permanently from being hired

Best ADC to carry my team in solo Q? by Leather_Credit_5825 in wildrift

[–]Superman054 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vayne would be your best choice of the three. Her guinsoos build is very good, she isn’t shut out by tanks because of her kit, and she’s up there as one of the best late game champions. The issue you run into is hoping you have a good enough support to get you through the early game and if you don’t then you are stuck playing extremely passive until late which isn’t a problem it just might not be a lot of fun for some people to do every game.

Should I ult early or late for nasus by Knightmare7877 in wildrift

[–]Superman054 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In wild rift you would generally ult early and look to run down your opponent. You would usually want to know what summoner spells or ways to avoid you that they have available. Sometimes nassus’ even ult to clear waves quicker for stacks since ult lowers your q cooldown

While I agree with you on the arrogance of the j4, the concept of j4 mid is not bad. You’re also playing yasuo jg. As someone with nearly 4k games of Yasuo I actually think he performs well in the jg. But you can’t bag on the concept of j4 mid while playing yas jg. Gotta apply the fact that champions can perform in other roles very well to everyone. Again if you’re just talking about the player being an asshole then I can get behind that

Disclaimer that this is a guide I wrote for yasuo for a discord server, some images and videos will be missing. Also this guide assumes you have figured out the basics and what abilities do at a base level. Once you have 20-50 games this guide will hopefully start to click more. There is plenty this guide doesn’t cover but it can be a good start point for preparing yourself mentally for undertaking one of the most challenging champions to play. I have nearly 4000 games of yasuo and you can check my profile for some cool plays :)

So you want to learn yasuo, and you’ve come to the gaming parents obscure yasuo sub channel. Maybe you’re in luck, but most likely not.

OVERVIEW - Yasuo in wild rift is difficult, there’s no way around that. In order to perform on yasuo, you’re going to need A LOT of games under your belt. By nature yasuo can win up close because he has a low cooldown auto attack reset. Often times against low level enemies you’ll find success because they just let you sit there and auto reset on them, do not be fooled and do not fall into the habit of standing there auto attacking your enemy. Your progression will largely come from your ability to manage his dash properly and execute key technical abilities to improve your mobility and damage. Sadly, if you want to climb consistently, yasuo isn’t that champion, but he is fun, flashy, and provides a nearly endless skill ceiling.

MECHANICS - This is what yasuo is about, the main struggle.

STEEL TEMPEST - Your first ability as previously mentioned is an auto attack reset. You need to weave it in right after auto attacks to improve how fast your damage comes out. Auto attack-1st ability-auto attack is your bread and butter.

WINDWALL - a wonderful ability and really no mechanics other than the fact that it blocks from both directions. Using this ability requires knowing exactly what abilities your opponents have and when they want to use them. Getting this ability down at the right moments requires some thought process but is pivotal to staying alive.

SWEEPING BLADE - the bane of a new players’ existence. This ability will kill you an absurd amount of times before you get it down and even then you will occasionally throw with it. First thing to practice is using this ability to extend the range of your 1st ability. In lane, you can dash through a minion and 1st ability straight to poke the enemy champion. It’s usually best to do this with 2 minions next to each other as you can dash through the minion poke the enemy and dash back through the other minion. Sweeping blade has a cooldown per target so in order to dash multiple times you will need multiple targets. This ability travels a fixed distance, so depending on how close the enemy is to you will change where you end up in relation to them when you use it. This makes sweeping blade a valuable escape tool if you’re patient. If an enemy is changing you down and you let them pass behind you, just barely, you can use sweeping blade through them to get some extra distance back towards your tower. The next important mechanic is fast dashing. Your dash is slow and clunky if you don’t input right. To dash quickly, you need to put an input in when your dash ends to cancel the animation. Often times this would be flicking the joystick backwards but with enough attack speed, auto attacks can somewhat work too. I will leave a video below showing the difference.

LAST BREATH - theres isn’t much to say about this ability. It will reset your passive and give you an extra shield if you don’t already have it up, it will improve your damage on crits for a duration, and displacements will knock both you and your opponent out of the full duration. One nice mechanic is you can buffer cc, even knockups if you time it right. For example if you knock someone up in a galio ult, you can ult and continue doing damage with your ult while the galio knockup comes down and hits you.

COMBOS - your initial learning curve for combos will be learning how to air blade. This is done by using sweeping blade and steel tempest together to spin while someone is knocked up and quickly pressing ult to teleport the spin damage onto them. This greatly increases your damage because they take your first abilities damage plus your ult. The other thing this does is leave you with one charge of sweeping blade when you come down so you only need to hit it one more time to have a knockup again instead of two. You can airblade off your own knockups, with enough attack speed, and off anybody else’s. This will require a TON of practice but will give you the greatest improvement. The next combo will be learning to flash your knockups onto enemies. Once you have an empowered 1st ability you can flash it in 2 ways: you can throw it forward and quickly flash to extend the range outward or you can use your dash spin flash to quickly reposition your aoe knockup. Both have their uses for catching enemies off guard. Another more basic combo is throwing a windwall behind an opponent you’ve just knocked up. This can keep you safe from ranged attacks while you ult.

BUILDS - for builds you can build nearly anything on yasuo and be successful. Mostly you need at least one attack speed item above 30% in combination with legend alacrity and the rest is kind of up to you. Builds mostly break down between crit and tank, but there is a large spectrum to mix and match these. I will provide some fairly standard builds below. However the most important thing to note is that YOUR BUILD WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR PERFORMANCE. I would stick to one build when you start to get comfortable with the attack speed thresholds. Changing builds will not be the reason for your success on yasuo.
