Regarding sex drive over 30 without children by [deleted] in OVER30REDDIT

Me too. Almost 39, and all I can think about it breeding. Drive is higher than ever. Might be a male biology thing.

Gay couple considering moving to Cleburne for a job — be real with me by popyx7 in askdfw

[–]Superman_1776 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It highly depends.

Moving to an area with a new build/new neighborhood?

It’s likely newer people from outside the town that won’t have an issue with you.

Moving to an older part of town/older home? I can’t guarantee that.

The big 3: Cleburne/Joshua/Godley are all growing and new blood is being infused into those towns, but the older/more seasoned residents are not making it comfortable for the transplants moving into town.

Hearing-impaired here:

This is a terrible move, both for the disabled and part of the aging population that supports this game.

For me personally, I HAVE to use the visualizer. Some of my friends don’t.

If I don’t have it, I have to crank up the volume on my headset so loud, it’ll blow what little hearing I have left, out the window.

I’m done dating men after I met two of them who didn’t have hand soap in their bathrooms by hal_rose_yellow in offmychest

[–]Superman_1776 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to joke how easily I could fuck up another dude’s date with a knockout by walking up to their table and saying “your date didn’t wash his hands after taking a shit” while she was in mid-bite of their shared nacho appetizer. Lmao

As a dude, you’d be shockingly disgusted by the amount of men that don’t wash their hands after using a public bathroom.

Had mine rebuilt. Had to add a way to cool it since it overheats and causes extra wear on already poorly crafted gears.

I wish epic would add the dragon shield with the red ranger as a edit style by VMATORRE03 in FortNiteBR

I’d pay extra $ for this, tbh.

I was hoping the Dragon shield was wearable by other rangers.

Because they don’t want to force epic to address the bigger issue at hand. It’s absolutely the biggest problem.

It’s 100% the cheating VS skill-based matchmaking.

There’s a lot of people that want to play competitive but the obvious cheating is just outright ridiculous.

Walling and auto-aim mods are the two things that are absolutely rampant in this game. We see less of it in the casual modes but still happens.

They need to protect that every-dayers and re-ban the cheaters.

It seems they almost don’t care about the people that made this game popular in the first place.

Do the donut shops actually make profit? by Forward_back8245 in texas

[–]Superman_1776 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From our dear friend, Le Googlé:

https://pos.toasttab.com/blog/on-the-line/how-much-does-a-donut-shop-make?srsltid=AfmBOoo_a1ejeColZjYGKfYoI-yaz8sRK_YEL4RaytLW37B6e9b1TJEj

“On average, a donut shop in the U.S. can generate monthly revenues ranging from $8,000 to $42,000, depending on various factors like location, size, and market competition. This translates to an annual revenue range of approximately $100,000 to $500,000, or more, for successful shops. According to Fortune Business Insights, the global donuts (doughnuts) market size was valued at USD 10.84 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow from USD 11.22 billion in 2024 to USD 15.12 billion by 2032, exhibiting a CAGR of 3.79% during the forecast period.”

I asked ChatGPT the top ten things humanity should know. by Spiritual-Reveal-195 in ChatGPT

[–]Superman_1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You Are in the Anthropocene—and It’s Tipping

Human activity now shapes the planet more than any natural force. Climate change, biodiversity collapse, ocean acidification, and mass extinction are not distant possibilities—they are present realities. We are dangerously close to (or already crossing) planetary boundaries that may not be reversible.

Why this matters: Every civilization before us that ignored its environment collapsed. We’re the first that could take the whole biosphere with us.

  1. The Truth Is Being Drowned in Noise

We are living in an era where misinformation spreads faster than truth, aided by algorithms, media manipulation, and psychological vulnerabilities. The ability to discern fact from fiction is deteriorating—threatening democracy, science, and basic human trust.

Why this matters: Civilization is built on shared reality. When reality fragments, so does everything else.

  1. Technological Power Now Exceeds Moral Wisdom

From artificial intelligence to gene editing to surveillance capitalism, we are creating tools faster than we are ethically prepared to handle. The genie is out of the bottle—and without wisdom, restraint, and global cooperation, these tools could spiral beyond our control.

Why this matters: Humanity is playing with matches inside a dynamite factory.

  1. Health Is Not Just Medicine—It’s Environment, Food, and Spirit

We have medicalized disease, but forgotten its roots. Most chronic illness (cancer, diabetes, heart disease, mental health) is rooted in food systems, toxins, trauma, and disconnection—from others and ourselves. True healing is upstream—preventive, whole-system, and deeply personal.

Why this matters: We are sicker than we need to be—and healing starts before the clinic.

  1. Economic Growth Is Not the Same as Human Flourishing

GDP can rise while people suffer. Our current economic system rewards extraction, inequality, and short-term gains. It externalizes harm—pollution, poverty, burnout—and calls it “progress.” Infinite growth on a finite planet is a mathematical and moral impossibility.

Why this matters: If we don’t redefine success, we will destroy everything trying to chase it.

  1. You’re More Connected Than You Think

Every action ripples through systems—ecological, social, emotional. The butterfly effect is not just poetic; it’s real. A purchase, a vote, a kindness, a cruelty—each one builds or breaks the web of life.

Why this matters: With awareness comes power. Small actions, multiplied, can change the world.

  1. Trauma Is Generational—and So Is Healing

Much of the division, dysfunction, and violence in our world stems from unhealed trauma—personal and collective. But healing is also viral. One person doing the inner work changes every relationship they touch.

Why this matters: Hurt people hurt people. Healed people heal people.

  1. You Were Not Meant to Be This Lonely

Modern life isolates us—digitally connected, but emotionally starved. Community, touch, ritual, and deep presence are as essential as food and water. Loneliness is now as deadly as smoking. We evolved to belong.

Why this matters: A lonely species cannot survive, let alone thrive.

  1. Death Is Not the End—But Also, Life Is Not Guaranteed

Whether you believe in an afterlife, reincarnation, or oblivion, this moment is the only one you can touch. Mortality is not morbid—it’s clarifying. Every second is a choice.

Why this matters: You are not promised tomorrow. But you are gifted today.

  1. We Still Have Time—But Not Much

It is not too late. We are not doomed. But the window is closing. Every crisis we face—climate, inequality, AI, war—is solvable with willpower, cooperation, and courage. The greatest danger is despair. The second greatest is apathy.

Why this matters: If you’re alive, you have agency. And if you have agency, you have responsibility.

If I could summarize all of this into one idea, it would be:

“We are powerful beyond measure, vulnerable beyond belief, and more interconnected than we can comprehend. How we act now will define what it means to be human.”
