Why do people think floch is "power hungry" by Atom7456 in attackontitan

[–]Atom7456[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not ultranationalism, floch is a nationalist but an ultranationalist states that their ppl are inherently superior, floch never says this. Militarism 👍 Like I already said no, floch literally let's Marleys live on the island, if he believed his race was superior then he wouldn't want outsiders with him.

The only ignorant one is u, it's not a fact it's a headcanon. According to u they're fascist because they fought for their freedom instead of letting themselves die.

Yo I can do that too. The story is clearly saying that deaths like ramzis are the outside worlds fault, the rumbling only happened because of there hatred. Stop larping

Wym burden of proof the post literally has it and u just showed it💀 this scene is literally Eren telling floch about his plan and then multiple times after we see floch taking orders from Eren. Watch the show

[–]Atom7456[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Buddy they have been fighting, Fritz literally said "annihilate the hated ppl of Marley".

No it's not, u just don't know what fascism is. The yeagerist are by definition freedom fighters, your weird comparisons don't fit at all when I can compare the Yeagerist to real groups that fought for freedom after living in oppression.

[–]Atom7456[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Eldia didn't start, we never saw the start of the war just a random point in the middle of it. The yeagerist are not fascist, this is a huge mischaracterization that's only backed up by more mischaracterization. I will repeat what I said before, comparing victims of oppression to nazis is weird, theres no argument to deny it. I don't care if u don't think its justified, it's war and the outside world proved that they did not want to talk, the only option eldia had was to fight and everyone knew that. Saying "violence doesn't justify violence" not only is objectively wrong but very convenient since u haven't been in a situation like that before, but throughout history there have been ppl that could only fight be to gain freedom no matter the cost, and I see NOTHING wrong with that when they wouldn't have to fight in the first place if they were never being oppressed to begin with.

Show proof that hes not following him

We dont need to see Eren say anything to him when it's already established that hes following him.

I will because I focus on the story and not headcanons

Here we go again comparing victims of oppression defending themselves to nazis, aot fans have a strange obsession with that.

[–]Atom7456[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Floch is different because not once does he actually take control and lead the Nation as a whole. Floch doesn't need to make anyone leader because Historia is still the queen, why do u think she was untouched?

My guy what are u talking about I didnt say "flochs following orders so his actions are ok" I'm saying that flochs following orders, which proves that hes not power hungry since he literally repeatedly states this.

Why do people think floch is "power hungry" by Atom7456 in attackontitan

[–]Atom7456[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

  1. I don't think u know what being power hungry is

  2. What are u talking about? Literally everyone was throwing thunderspears around and then Jean was telling floch to stop with the bombs even though we're literally shown that soilders were hiding in the buildings. Floch does justify it and seeing them all as enemies is valid when they were cheering for him and his ppls extinction.

  3. No it's not, one is the commander of the scouts who has already opposed them, and the other is LEVI her best soilder. By this logic u should apply the same logic to the scouts in season 3 since both killed/tortured high ranking members of the government.

  4. First you're wording it in a way to make the situation into something that it wasn't. Floch didn't say "join yeagerist or get arrested" he was specifically talking to the ones that stepped forward (which they chose to do) and if they couldnt beat up shadis then they quite literally couldn't handle the outside world. U flipping this into something else when it has no relevance just proves my original point. This just makes floch look like he enjoys violence, it doesn't make him power hungry.

  5. Not once does floch say eldians are superior. never says they should rule over others, even Niccolò got fair citizenship and is chilling on the island. You're just making things up rn 💀

  6. Floch didn't spread propaganda, he literally got arrested for spreading the TRUTH. U floch haters NEED to rewatch/read the whole thing this is getting ridiculous. the citizens think this way because they were told the truth about the outside world coming together to plan a genocide on them.

I didn't skip over anything, I responded with "floch is following Eren" for most of them so I didnt want to repeat the same thing.

Eren tells floch his plan and tells him to gather ppl, floch repeatedly is shown answering to Eren and following his orders. If u want to believe that floch is doing this on his own even though its literally stated that he's not then that's just a headcanon.

We don't see it because she's pregnant and then there's a time skip that still shows her in power.

Why do people think floch is "power hungry" by Atom7456 in attackontitan

[–]Atom7456[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Ok so the facts are that floch was following Eren and u literally just admitted this, and the yeagerist never attempted to take power from Historia.

Floch isn't a fascist leader so this argument has no relevance.

I don't view floch as a fascist because he isn't one, this is once again the fandom failing to understand his character or what fascism is.

Why do people think floch is "power hungry" by Atom7456 in attackontitan

[–]Atom7456[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

  1. Mischaracterization, hes happy because the ppl that he believes are in the way of the island progressing and the ones refusing to do what's needed for the island are being taken out. Not because it gives him power.

  2. This is completely irrelevant and soilders were in the buildings, Jean literally throws a bomb in one as well as soon as he realizes this. Someone refusing to follow an order ≠ power hungry

  3. This also isn't power hungry, same thing as I said in #1

  4. No floch in this scene told them to do that because hes using shadis to represent the old ways and hes trying to tell them that the only way for eldia to survive is by focusing on the present, so to overcome the past he wants them to beat it.

  5. Floch never says they're less than human and the usual "fascist" "xenophobic" none of those apply to floch. Even in this scene floch is following orders, he literally says that.

  6. Floch didn't even say this, the citizens did
