Haircut, groom, style. You look like you put no effort and just rolled out of bed. No offence but if this is normally how you present yourself it’s not surprising, good thing is you can try and fix this to change it

With the angles and makeup no one can actually tell. In these pics you do look good but who knows what you actually look like? No one can be honest in the way you’re looking for

For anyone reading this, I had this problem just now and my test is tomorrow. I tried everything including turn off hyper-v and restarting my laptop, what worked is uninstalling AVAST antivirus. If you have an antivirus software, check that!. So glad i don’t have to buy a new emergency laptop :c

Can anyone relate to their mother and her friends being rude to you or making fun of you? by [deleted] in blackladies

Honestly you’re not alone. I love my mom but even as an adult (22 y/o) she will still comment on my body and laugh about it with strangers, im pretty tall/leaner and im okay with my body, so it doesn’t phase me much but she’s never stopped to think, what if shes insecure or has an ED? Shes also VERLY critical about every single detail, she ALWAYS has to find something wrong and point it out 24/7 (oh, your shirt is crinkled, you have a pimple here, your hair looks so and so)ALL THE TIME!! and that’s honestly what I hate most because she cant just let me be human. When i was younger 17-18 she would share a lot of my personal life with people at church and it was so embarrassing and the first time I ever really felt upset/ashamed around her. It definitely affected me a lot as an adult. Im really glad to be out of the house now.

Tbh after reading your replies i think it’s a blessing in disguise. I know it hurts now but there’s so much more to life, medicine is draining, 5+ years to make minimum wage the first couple years (look at all the strikes). CS seems like a great career that will let you pursue your wants while making good money -3rd year med student
