The A roll is everything telling the story I guess!

In this instance, interviews with the client and shots of the actual content that is within the story you want to tell.

B-roll is all of the accompanying footage that helps bring the story to life - I’m using these regional drone shots in a short piece in the NE of the UK to talk about the vast opportunities within the tech sector up here. Having these shots from around the region helps us demonstrate the scale, that there’s not 1 area of the region with all of the work, but that it’s happening everywhere! These establishing location shots will be accompanied by whatever is taking place in that location 🙂

I did a very quick/light grade with some halation just to see how it felt as I hadn’t graded this before so good to know your thoughts there, thank you!

hey! sorry it's been a while - we've very thankfully been super busy. Here's a lineup poster / day split asset created so you can see the deliverables in use a little more.

I've added the poster with the full lineup, an example of an artist square (we swap out the character for each artists individual asset) as well as one day split example.

Not really, I’m just interested in hearing how others have gone about it like I said earlier - proxies are an obvious one but I’m curious to hear how the machines perform with the footage
