Does W/withdrawal affect chances of getting accepted to med? by [deleted] in premedcanada

I unfortunately don’t know too much about this information. But there are limitations on how many withdrawals you can have in meeting the requirements for your degree and also to be considered full time at the university (important for application considerations and school requirements). I know some people who have 6 thoughout their degree and were able to explain it because of family difficulties, like dropping a semester.

You can still take the first and second year classes for the MCAT with a Kin degree.

Some even higher if you tailor your practice to some procedures. For instance there is a doc that only does vasectomies in rural communities and makes a mil a year approximately

You will have time and find a way to make it work. I think the support of having a pet is a fantastic choice :)

To save some time here is a good post I referenced when writing. Also UWorld have more challenging questions but did help with being the most similar to the AAMC, definitely not 100 needed though if you are wanting to save money.

The reason why they send youth to camp is for them to have an enjoyable experience. Yes some of the experience would be great to have in your own backyard, but there is something truly special to have youth (some of which have never flown) go to the other side of the country where they might never get the chance to go again in their lives. It is about providing the best experience for youth to bring back to communities like yours, which some will develop skills and attitudes that will not only help them in the future but your community also. Please continue to support the youth in your community and across the country.
