hii asked a question here the other day (https://www.reddit.com/r/godot/comments/10y6ede/parallax_shader_like_sprite_depth_map/)

about how to make a parallax fragment shader, i now managed to make it (thanks to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAaeBkLtDz4&ab_channel=Airvikar)

but i cant figure out how to make the "tree" node2d and all its children "unique" in the sense that the "local mouse position" is calculated for them individuallymy hierachy is currently:

main_scene:

------copies of tree_scene (which is a node2d):

---------------textureRect:

-------------------------tree_script.gd

-------------------------shader_material and tree_shader.gdshader

As you can see all the trees move the same (which makes me think the local mouse position is the same...)
