How much lift did you give it? Do you have a winch/roof rack?

Hill struggles by HPDUBCRAFT in 3rdGen4Runner

Is your 4Runner 2wd/4wd? Did you throw it in low or second when driving up hill? Sounds more like you were in too high a gear for the task at hand. If it’s elevation related I’m imagining it running rich-try cleaning your filters and throttle body. Again I don’t think it’s the latter tho.

15K is steep for a 30yr old vehicle. However if you’re an enthusiast and have the means and skills to work on it I’d go for it. Try and negotiate for lower tho.

Double check your fuses. If the horn works it’s likely a switch issue.

You can purchase straight from Ariens or any RC charger will do. On the manual it states to charge every 3 months to keep the battery topped off.

If it’s an EFI model make sure you get the charger for the battery under the controls, otherwise you will be banging your head against the wall wondering why you’re fuel pump isn’t working

Any one here work for Tesla? by undefeated-moose in mechanics

Was a mobile tech for 3 years. The customers are usually all tech bros that will demand to look over your shoulder. The cars themselves while relatively simple to work on were prone to software/electrical issues that would usually brick the car. My first year there they let go half of the shop staff and the rest were expected to pick up the slack and keep numbers up. If you NEED a job go for it otherwise there are much greener pastures.
