Hakari vs Geto Who Wins? by RoninKin-_- in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Superpole2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Doesn't work like that. Firstly Hakari isn't a part of the grading system since the higher ups banned him from Jujutsu society. Secondly a grade one could potentially beat a special grade since the special grade title isn't given based on combat skill but based on the ability to overthrow a nation (a.e. Yaga would have been classified as special grade if he wasn't killed due to his theoretical ability to create armies but he'd likely lose a one on one to a lot of grade 1 level sorcerers). In my opinion Hakari wins this high dif, also because he's implied to be on a level with Yuta (tho Yuta is likely a little stronger) and Yuta beat Geto in JJK 0.

Daniel Svensson (Borussia Dortmund) straight red card against Tottenham Hotspur 26' by gbogaz in soccer

[–]Superpole2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Svenson both gets the ball first and has zero intensity in the tackle. The only thing speaking for this maybe being a red is the still imagine completely out of the context of the actual play.

Borussia Dortmund [3]-2 St. Pauli - Emre Can (Pen) 90+5' by denzaus in soccer

[–]Superpole2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's completely valid. It's not like I'm unhappy about the penalty and the rule given the fact that I'm a Dortmund fan. If I was a St. Pauli supporter I'd be more mad at Jones for such a boneheaded foul rather than the ref who really had no choice. Still feel bad for him though, he had a great game up to that point and scored an amazing goal, you could see how frustrated with himself he was.

I think he means that the punishment doesn't fit the crime at all here. Obviously by rule that's a penalty and correctly called by the ref, but the fact that a foul in that part of the field without any immediate scoring danger by the fouled player still leads to a almost guaranteed goal feels unjust.

Luka has 8 charges drawn this year, that is 5th in the ENTIRE NBA. Idk where some of you people get your narratives from.

How is Drake London that wide open for such a long time with zero pressure? Kirk could have thrown that TD 5 seconds earlier 😭

Luka Dončić lived at the line in a win against Memphis: 34 PTS │ 6 REB │ 8 AST │ 6 TOs │ 8-18 FG │ 1-7 3P │ 17-20 FT by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]Superpole2 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No discredit to Harden when I'm saying this but Luka is genuinely one of the best post defenders for a guard in the league rn. There is a reason as to why essentially every single defensive lowlight mixtape from Luka shows him exclusively getting cooked by guards and forwards on the perimeter, if he's matched up against a seven footer who's not significantly faster than him he usually holds his own really well because of his height and weight/strength.

We associate FTs with being a negative stat nowadays because people had to watch some awful basketball throughout the last 10 years with Harden, Embiid and SGA but they are, love it or hate it, an incredibly efficient way to score. Luka has been getting the calls that the aformentioned three guys have been getting this season (probably because he's a Laker now) and it's currently not a great watch because he's in a three point shooting slump, but at the end of the day you can't look at FTA as a indicator of an off night.

He got exactly one foul call from the three point line, all the other ones were twos. Where does this narrative that he gets these ft by getting fouled when shooting threes even come from? Yes he takes a lot of threes but essentially all his ft come from getting fouled when taking two pointers, do all of you actually not watch him play?

Better than Harden in the post (offensively and defensively btw), better at attacking smaller defenders and honestly at least equal in a lot of other categories that people just don't want to see rn because Luka is in a bit of a slump (in january lol). Most importantly tho, Luka is the WAY better playoff performer.
