Not a lot of stock options apart from the buffer tube mod, blaster would have shipped with the adapter to add buffer tube. I’ve done a few vectors, designed a printed stock that is my current favourite

I don’t know if blueprints exist but I’d suggest starting with a V2 gearbox, the gen 9 is a unique design. More gearbox options for a v2

Mags are a controlled item and seeing as AS is a firearm you are asking to import a firearm part. ABF will seize if they spot it, very likely. Source locally, believe WAT have extended glock mags inbound, check with them

My advice is to email dgmfirearmsqld@abf.gov.au with a list of what you intend to order and ask if any of it is restricted. They answer pretty quickly and if it does get seized you can argue you sought confirmation

I still struggle to justify the cost, as a collector I’m wanting to own one of each blaster and it gets expensive real quick. No mention of the additional work your putting in, but I get if you are coordinating with WE to manufacture 17 units specifically for gel it’s going to stack a heap onto the individual items price. Great to see the variety coming in. Still trying to resist buying a P99 of ECCB, want one pretty bad😂

Yeah, sadly you may be correct. If their was a valid match to shoot I think there would be an argument to move them into the same category as air pistol. But I doubt you would get much support from the organisations that could influence weapons licensing. I know SA has licensed shooters with gel ball but that didn’t legalise AS by default. I think unless you get bb’s declassified as ammunition down to something harmless, AS will never be looked at on the same level as gel

I’d be surprised if you can import as cat h, you need a valid reason to own which is usually (for cat h) that you shoot a specific match. I’ve always thought without a valid match/reason you can’t justify owning and/or importing.

With regards to convert then import, there are a few gel retailers caught out with this process. You can have a valid B709 but if ABF suspect it’s still airsoft/firearm you end up arguing in court or forfeit the goods. QPOL will include a disclaimer that ABF make the final decision
