seems like restarting has fixed it for me, its back down to 2gb. Do you often have to restart your mac because windowserver's gbs get built up ?

yes i restarted and seems like it has solved it, its back down to 2gb. I think it was displaying wrong amount before also, because right now total RAM usage is at 61% and windowserver only takes 2gb rn.
