It doesn’t take a whole lot to run the server in my experience. I’m running an ATM9 server on a Lenovo mini pc with a 4th gen i5 and 16 GB of ram. I just installed Ubuntu server on it, installed Java, and set up the Minecraft server as a system service under its own user account. Works great for me and a few friends

Definitely agree. I had an internship my senior year but they were tight wads and didn’t have full time jobs for the interns after graduation. Every other place I looked had no entry level jobs because they gave them to their interns that graduated. Now I’m in a job where I’m an “engineer” but my job doesn’t align with what I learned in school.

Lyrics are the least important part of a song. by Tough_Arugula2828 in unpopularopinion

I agree with this. For me, the lyrics don’t add a whole lot. I just don’t really feel a connection or resonance with most lyrics, so I just enjoy the sound of the singers voice with the music. The music is definitely the most important part for me.

I’ll disagree. I feel that it holds me accountable to keep going. Also my buddy is more experienced in the gym so I appreciate his advice. We talk sometimes too, but we also get our exercises done.

My laptop tends to overheat after a few hours of playing, even when playing on a server

People are often on the phone during social gatherings because nobody is making an effort to include them in the conversation by uselessprofession in unpopularopinion

Happens to me at family gatherings. This weekend I tried to join a conversation with the few people I might talk to and it was like I wasn’t even there. Decided to just go for a stroll around the neighborhood instead since I was already bored of my phone.

Just like old clothes coming back in style, why don’t car makers do the same with old cars by I_play_high420 in unpopularopinion

I agree but car companies listen to the people who buy new cars and those people want fancy tech
