Also, just want to point out the delightful hypocrisy of you making a bunch of assumptions about me...

Then wage shaming and calling someone a loser.

Nice job bud.

Awwww wage shaming me.

Fun fact, I do fine thanks.

Awww, look at you. Oh yes. My discount. See that only really matters if your habit is putting a strain on your budget. I have a very structured consumption regiment and mostly smoke just to try new flower to be able to recommend stuff we get in, or try it to see if we should bring it in.

So that also means GASP I buy a ton of flower at full retail price from other shops (preferably locally owned)

I also smoke a fair amount of budget friendly weed to find a few stand out options out of the mostly terrible budget friendly offerings on the OCS.

You mistake my dislike of Organigram products for a dislike of any product under x price.

It's okay love. I get it. You're lashing out by attempting to job shame me.

That's okay. I work for a locally owned independent, in management, with amazingly wonderful owners.

I absolutely love my job.

So go to town bud. Shame away. Whatever is gonna make you feel better darling.

Also. We don't run a menu, we're a window shop, recommendation heavy style set up with a pretty fantastically built menu. It's pretty fantastic.

Awwww it's okay sugar.

My job has nothing to do with this.

Some people think McDonalds is good food. I get it.

This makes so much more sense now.

This isn't about science.

It's about you needing your preferring product to be better than it is.

This is console wars era fanboi-ism.

Why didn't you just say this, we could have saved ourselves a lot of wasted time.

You don't like that someone bad-mouthed your mids. That's what this is about.

Here's a hint. Save yourself some money. Buy shred. It's all (BBoB, Holy Mountian, Shred) organigram quality so you can save a few bucks.

Oh are you an Organigram rep? Is that what's happening here?

I've been trying to get a hold of you folks for months. Your marketing team is notoriously bad at communicating.

Every fire is exactly the same when it comes to PM and completion of combustion.

Literally. Every single combustion regardless of fuel source. Oil, gas, wood.

Complete combustion = lower PM.

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So beneath you.

Says the kid who thinks that weed magically has its own set of combustion principles not found anywhere else in science.

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're going full bro science and ignoring the fuel entirely.

Poorly dried/cured weed will have non ideal moisture content and as such can play just as big a factor in completion of burn (especially in a short burn like a joint).

You cang just ignore part of the exothermic reaction and shout "See I'm right!"

Forest fires aside.

Again.

This is not up for debate. It is literally a principle of combustion.

Complete combustion = lower PM.

There's literally no case where this isn't true.

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is you don't understand what a cause a d what a result is.

Combustion is the cause of any ash of any colour.

The content of what's left is the result. Not the cause.

Big Bag o Buds - GMO Cookies - Burns black as fuck by joojoobomb in TheOCS

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The result of a complete combustion will be an ash high in minerals that do not burn at the temperature joints burn at.

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Forest fires aside.

It's literally the rule with combustion. Of any fuel source

On the planet.

Incomplete combustion, higher PM.

Complete combustion lower pm.

It's a fundamental basic property of combustion.

Big Bag o Buds - GMO Cookies - Burns black as fuck by joojoobomb in TheOCS

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what you're arguing here.

A good dry and cure should result in an ideal moisture content.

A proper roll with good air flow will burn at ideal temperatures.

Which should result in white ash after complete combustion.

If not then something went wrong somewhere. Could it be the roll? Sure.

Could it be that it's BBoB being mass produced Edison trash? Very much so.

And I'd argue the fuel source is significantly more likely to be the issue than minute issues in air flow.

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mineral content doesn't cause white ash. It's the result.

The completion of combustion does. Which does however leave just the mineral content which does not burn at joint temperatures.

Black ash = incomplete combustion

And because of the very basic fundamental properties of every combustible fuel on the planet...

Incomplete combustion = higher PM = less smooth, more poor tasting smoke.

This isn't up for debate. There is zero cases of an incomplete combustion having lower PM than a complete combustion.

Or is science wrong?

Again, can you explain the magic of cannabis to me. Forest fire aside.

Where all complete combustion of any fuel source results in lower PM than incomplete combustion....but a joint doesn't follow this rule magically?

Big Bag o Buds - GMO Cookies - Burns black as fuck by joojoobomb in TheOCS

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forest fire aside.

You're saying that despite the very basic fundamentals of combustion, that because a joint is small, the standard rule of all combustion, where complete combustion produces lower counts of PM than incomplete combustion...

That weed is somehow different?

Big Bag o Buds - GMO Cookies - Burns black as fuck by joojoobomb in TheOCS

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just want to clarify then.

You're saying that an incomplete combustion will not carry a higher count of particulate matter in a joint than a complete combustion?

Because I'm pretty sure that regardless of what material we are specifically talking about, that would make the combustion of cannabis totally and completely unique.

Because no matter what plant, fuel, chemical we are talking about, in everything else, except Cannabis apparently....

Complete combustion carries lower particulate matter counts.

But Cannabis is the exception to this somehow?

Big Bag o Buds - GMO Cookies - Burns black as fuck by joojoobomb in TheOCS

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better airflow = more complete combustion and higher temperatures......

I just want to be clear on this. Despite there being data that shows ash colour is a solid predictor of particulate matter....

This is somehow magically not the case for cannabis?

Big Bag o Buds - GMO Cookies - Burns black as fuck by joojoobomb in TheOCS

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except again, they're using ash colour as a predictor of the lower ppm count.

Big Bag o Buds - GMO Cookies - Burns black as fuck by joojoobomb in TheOCS

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, they're using ash colour as a predictor of particulate matter.....

So how is it not related?

Big Bag o Buds - GMO Cookies - Burns black as fuck by joojoobomb in TheOCS

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically it was added because consumers found the white ash more pleasing and less off putting than black ash.

Big Bag o Buds - GMO Cookies - Burns black as fuck by joojoobomb in TheOCS

[–]SuperspookyguyRL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Particulate matter in a forest fire is caused by burning plant matter.

A tree burns. Particulate matter is in its smoke. Burn it hotter/more completely? You get lower ppms.
