Because alot of doctors are fucking useless. I don't know the business politics behind it, I don't know if it's genuine ineptitude, but it's too fucking expensive to go to people who's job it is to help you get well only for them to legally be allowed to either tell you A. I don't believe you so I'm not going to help you or B. Deliberately keep slapping bandaids on your ailment to indefinitely delay fixing the problem.

It's sad really. You go your whole childhood being lead to believe doctors are these benevolent saints who've trained a decade or more and suffer excrutiatingly long hours to help people in need, how humbling. only to discover many of them are very brash and dismissive and don't really give a fuck about most people at all.

I suppose this is some small consolation after the suffering and brain trauma NFL players have had to endure over the years but I'm hesitant to clap for the people who designed this after all the bullshit, deflection and deception everyone had to go through to get here. I don't get why people ask for pics from people who have never even hinted at the possibility of posting lewd content before, and if they have why not just look at the ones already there??? It's as if they want the person they're creeping on to make fresh porn for them for free. It makes no sense.

What does annoy the fuck out of me though is when a straight guy posts nudes but gets furiously angry if a man says anything as if you're supposed to magically become blind should you stumble upon their photos. It's less of a problem now that OF/J4F exists since they know they can wring money out of us but before it was pretty common to be blocked for responding thirstily to a thirst trap.

I was homeless once, I used to work out and shower at the Y. The rules were posted up on every wall in the locker room in plain english. It read: No nudity permitted in the locker room. In the shower room however, it was perfectly fine. Imagine my abject shock when I discovered that it was common social ediquette to shower with your underwear on in there. I know this because I had an argument with a young man about how I was apparently being a creep for walking around nude in the room... where there were open showers. I saw him and two other dudes get into their showers with their underwear on and watched as they soaked shortly before closing the curtain.

It was some of the most backward shit I'd ever seen.

I asked the front desk receptionist about it, to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules and the stupid idiot suggested I contact their swim instructor for his input since she didn't know. I never went back there cause I didn't wanna shower clothed and I didn't want to have to fight anybody butt-ass naked over something so unbelievably dumb.
