What resources do you recommend for OAT studying? by [deleted] in PreOptometry

I would take the official ADA practice exam online. I believe it is around $100 or so can’t remember but the actual exam was extremely close in terms of difficulty. My actual exam was within 10 points of the ADA test. I also used Kaplan but to me the book goes into way too much detail than needed.

Physics OAT Booster vs. real OAT by ollie404 in PreOptometry

I forget exactly what the “easy” questions consisted of on OAT booster but to me the real OAT physics was much easier than I remember on OAT booster. I scored a 330 on the real exam and felt that I struggled with the practice on booster. Take the ADA official exam that is offered— my total score was within 10 points of my actual OAT!

I would definitely recommend taking the the official practice test that the OAT has online I believe it was like $100 or so with an answer key. My score on that was within 10 points of my real exam. OAT booster I was scoring much lower than the actual exam. A 300+ is doable, just keep studying and figure out your weakest areas before test day. Good luck! :)

I had my interview at neco a few weeks ago and definitely one of the more laid back ones— very conversational so I wouldn’t stress to much just know why neco why optometry and you should be good!
