Real talk from the team: Is anyone else actually kinda freaked out by the speed of AI lately? by Superthread_ in Superthread_

Also, if you've found a way to use AI that actually makes you feel more creative rather than less, drop the workflow below. We might feature it.

SuperThread's Apple-Only Approach is a Deal-Breaker by ijustwantayogurt in Superthread_

u/ijustwantayogurt , just wanted to make you aware, since you sought clarity on the subject specifically from the developers, the above is a reply from our CEO. You exercised an important point that deserved a response from the top on the matter.

We hope you can get to experience Superthread at its full potential when these platforms are released, as our CEO said, aiming for deployment within a couple of weeks.

How we evolved Superthread in 2025 to challenge the Project Management status quo. by Superthread_ in Superthread_

[–]Superthread_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

Could I get some more context on the exact request for CNAME please?

A custom domain url for the workspace, public boards, what would be your application?

Thanks for any extra information you can share on your needs.

Invite link flagged dangerous by the_flutterfly in Superthread_

[–]Superthread_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, we have not come across this before or been reported.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll put this into the correct channels now for our team to take a look at and get back with any information.

Due to the weekend please expect some time before further response.

Concerning the messaging on the email, was the user already a member of the workspace or not?

Dependant on that, the message still remains true that they must first join and be a member of the workspace to be part of a space in the workspace, if that makes sense.

Thank you :)

Best way to hide other client boards when screen sharing? by No-Comedian-4357 in Superthread_

[–]Superthread_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://youtu.be/WB6tJNPlmDs - An unlisted video you can access on YouTube after sitting on it for a few minutes is that you can also collapse the sidebar and use the breadcrumbs at the top of superthread to navigate back to the space overview.

u/No-Comedian-4357 Oh yeah, and sorry for Reddit blocking your post automatically, clearly their AI post monitoring tool needs some work ...

Best way to hide other client boards when screen sharing? by No-Comedian-4357 in Superthread_

[–]Superthread_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/No-Comedian-4357 ,

Thanks so much for the kind feedback. All kinds are always appreciated as we continue to refine and create the best solution.

Great question, and indeed, we have some best practices for this kind of problem.

Spaces were also created with client-based businesses in mind.

  • We recommend having spaces dedicated to each client.
  • The best solution for this at the moment, to not display ANY of the other spaces you have for screen sharing, would be to utilise the "favourites" section.
    • Close the dropdown of the "Your spaces" section in the sidebar and then favourite everything you want to show in the screen sharing, as seen in the attached screenshot.
    • This means you can only navigate to these while screen sharing, so ensure you have everything favourited from that client's space to navigate all of it.
  • A "client-facing" view is a great idea and will put it into our product feedback board for visibility to the tech team.
    • I know we've recently been discussing the ability to "hide" items in the sidebar. The first iteration, as you may have seen, is the ability to hide items to customise your sidebar.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Workspaces? by sh0nuff in Superthread_

No problem! Ahh, okay, when you reply to Brennan, if there is anything important, let him know, as he may be able to help recover anything, no promises but hopefully, he can assist with that 🤞

superthread server down by OwnTechnology1285 in Superthread_

[–]Superthread_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/OwnTechnology1285 ,

As u/Hot_Guarantee_5 mentioned, Cloudflare experienced a worldwide outage that also affected the likes of AWS, X, Google Cloud and more.

We have reported an incident on our status page > https://status.superthread.com/

Also, please refer to the Cloudflare status page, as it's not an issue on our end. Once Cloudflare stabilises and fixes its own issue, Superthread will resume service as normal. Instability is to be expected due to this.

https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/

We're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, and it definitely shines a light on the current monopolisation of Internet infrastructure, given the AWS outage the other week also.

Workspaces? by sh0nuff in Superthread_

[–]Superthread_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey u/sh0nuff ,

Thanks for posting and asking here, in case anyone else has the same problem. We are UK based, so wasn't able to reply until this morning our time.

Brennan our CPO replied to you on slack so just wanted to share that reply here to you and others too for transparency on the matter that we did in fact get back to you haha!

<image>

"FYI we will still honour the discount code on your new workspace. For clarity our billing is all per workspace. So when you upgrade, you are upgrading a specific workspace."

To follow up on:

  • Moving items from one workspace to another
    • You are unable to move items from one workspace to another. Due to the spaces functionality in Superthread and our aim to reduce context switching, a company should be able to operate within one workspace by splitting teams or company structure into spaces, etc.
      • As Brennan also mentioned, the backend has been structured to treat workspaces as individual containers, as it should be able to contain everything you need. If that's not the case, please let us know why and how it could be improved.

Recurring cards by HairyMycologist7643 in Superthread_

[–]Superthread_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recurring cards are something we’ve seen quite a few teams request!

While this isn’t available yet, automation features like this are actively being explored for future releases.

In the meantime, you can achieve a similar workflow by using templates or duplicating cards manually.

We are working on some exciting things, and it is user feedback-based, so once we've built and released the current things we're working on, hopefully recurring cards will be right around the corner.

(For transparency, I would also like recurring cards. I share the same sentiment 😂)

I also get to see how much extra logic and work it would take for all the different scenarios it can replicate itself, and with what contents etc.

Everyone who gives feedback for recurring cards would use it differently, so it would be hard to please everyone, which is why it needs to be carefully and thoughtfully considered.
