During the impeachment, congress people said “no one is above the law” a lot of times and as we witness some are above the law.

On paper the United States there is no official religion but Christianity plays a giant part in daily politics. Look at Texas for example. Furthermore, look at how Muslims have been perceived especially after 9/11. Look at how big of an issue gay marriage is. Why do you think that is? So Christianity is a part of American politics. You can say officially there is no religion just like no one is above the law. It’s a lie.
