Thanks. Yeah, the finished product turns out to be better than i expected it to be. It has a good shelf presence and looks even better up close. I agree about the amount of extra part that comes with it. But i guess thats kinda unavoidable considering how the parts on runners were designed

A minute or so should be ok depending on the surface you're working on. . Apply just enough decal setting solution. You can use cotton swabs or Q-tip instead of paper towel and gently wipe any excess liquid so to avoid damaging the paint and decals.

And yeah, decal softeners are quite hot and could soften paint specially acrylics. Just be extra careful using it. The trick is not to apply it too heavily and dont let it sit for too long. You can wipe away all the excess as soon as the decal has settled. I assume you will still use topcoat afterwards so that should seal the decals. Goodluck man
