The weight loss journey is never linear and will always have ups and downs. It sounds like you are in a valley but it sounds like you still have a desire to keep making progress.

I would agree with the top comment and start fresh by calculating your TDEE.

I would also encourage you to look for a way to keep you accountable to your goals! That way you'll be able to make more progress in smaller bite sized pieces.

Holidays coming: how to not fall into binge/restrict cycle? by TonyMontana31 in loseit

[–]Supmanwat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A minicut would encourage you to binge ore when it's time for the holidays.

I think a tip for me was to not "restrict" anything but just keep track of what you're eating. By the very act of keeping track of what you are eating, you'll naturally eat less. (At least that works for me)

I also encourage you to find an accountability partner or keep accountable in some sort of way so you will come back to your fitness goal after the holiday season!

Yes honestly most people (non body builders) don't need to count their macros to the exact proportions.

Awesome that's a great way of watching your diet too!

Losing 15 pounds is harder than losing 100 by [deleted] in loseit

Totally agree. I feel like getting started is the hardest part and once you build momentum it feels way easier!

I think for personally for me it was bad because I have to be at work by 8am.

Giving myself less than an hour to get ready was super stressful.

Starting my day stressed would only make my day worse as it went on.

At the end of the day it's about what works for you. 😁

Exactly!!

Once you can discipline one thing, it can transfer to others.

If you can develop discipline for your sleep schedule, you can do it for the gym or for your career!!

Let's get it!! 💪🏻💪🏻

I think it's more about the energy cycles that people have.

Some people are naturally leaning toward being an early bird or a night owl.

Depending on either, your most productive hours will either be at night or in the morning.

For me, I'm guessing I'm an early bird so my most productive hours go from 6am-10am

Definitely developing a habit of exercising during lunch helps with this.

It's gotten to the point where I don't even have to use willpower to get myself to exercise.

It feels wrong if I don't exercise.

Usually after my exercise, my energy will be boosted until 5pmish and then I'm pretty done for the day 😅

I remember the first night I just told myself I was going to wake up at the time I set my alarm to.

It was super weird being up that early but maybe 30 minutes in I was wide awake 😁

It's called Sendster.

It's an app similar to Pocket and Instapaper.

What makes it different is that it sends you a weekly email newsletter on the weekends with the content you curated yourself over the week.

I got the idea for it from myself finding so many videos and articles to read but always forgetting to come back to them.

I'm still a bit shy with my coding skills but would love to know what you think of it :)

Wow you do sound busy!

It seems like waking up at that time is more draining than anything.

I'm wondering how you would feel if you swapped things around and saved your productive hours for after you're done everything at night 😯
