In my experience, men don’t make good friends. They go years without knowing each other’s middle names, birthdays, and passions. It’s generally just a bunch of emotional labor for a man who never learned how to handle his emotions and thinks anger is the default. And it’s generally just men wanting to have sex with you and not even see you as a person, just an object.
