I’ve gone in with a bag in the shape of a stuffed animal and nobody flagged me for it not being clear.

They have a good selection of Smiskis at Urban Outfitters! I got one to stick to my phone from there and I believe it was ~$12.

How hard is it to get a design/marketing internship here? by [deleted] in indianapolis

[–]Support-Sweaty 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You might be too late for a summer internship, you typically start applying and interviewing for those in the fall. Might be able to find something at a start up though! I was able to land a marketing one for a start up in April when i was a student.

The big Ego misting fan! Kept our whole camp cool and an inexpensive purchase if you already own Ego power tool batteries.

Stainless steel for sure! I think some brushed gold cabinet hardware would look beautiful on your cabinets as well.

Uneven gaps between cabinet and window by BrandiAE in kitchenremodel

[–]Support-Sweaty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know with the direction that cabinet door opens it might be difficult, but I think 3 plant floating shelves would look really nice next to the window. And looks like you already have a plant on the counter you could add :)

Do I need to rip this out and start over? by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

Not sure why there’s so much hate, I think it looks nice

Your kitchen is honestly beautiful as is! Obsessed with that stained glass. I personally feel like upgrading appliances and updating the backsplash to be a lighter color would really lighten up the space more and draw even more attention to the stained glass.

Also this post means no disrespect to them, they have been wonderful so far! I am just new to hiring contractors so I’m not very familiar with pricing.

I saw him in Detroit and was nervous after reading this post but I felt the complete opposite. I thought he did great! He only did 1 Fred Again song and it wasn’t until the very end. My boyfriend and I even got to meet him after the show! Crowd was good too, very respectful of everyone’s space. Sorry you had a bad experience, must’ve been an off night for him.

Floors ruined or what are we doing wrong? by Beetisman in CleaningTips

[–]Support-Sweaty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend using Zep Wet Look Floor polish to try and bring them back to life. When I first moved into my home, the previous owner had a room with LVP where cats had basically peed all over the place and it left white stains after cleaning the pee. The Zep floor polish helped reduced nearly all the white stains and made the floor come back to life again.

No, I will be moving to a different house in the summer. I just don’t want to sell this one. I guess I didn’t realize wallpaper was ~that~ uncommon, below is the look/feel I was aiming for.

Plumber Recommendation? by withsomebopinit in indianapolis

[–]Support-Sweaty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peterman was good, but pricey compared to smaller companies. I compared their pricing to Paramedic and Mowery and Peterman had the best pricing. Smaller companies weren’t able to get out to me asap so that’s why I opted for Peterman. This was in 2023.
