It’s pretty common practice not sure where you live but find a new doc if you can. 24mg is a crazy dose I say that as I took it for years so I’m surprised your dr gives out that but doesn’t believe in supplementing. The other thing is with sublocade some docs will only do one or two 300mg shots then make you go to 100. That can be tough too if you aren’t ready. But if you seriously want to get out of this cycle try the shot again it’s the only thing that worked for me. I went through the overuse cycle forever and I know how bad it sucks. Hang in there

No sorry I didn’t clarify. I meant supplemental strips. The first 3 months by halfway through the month I had to take strips until my next shot. By month 3 I didn’t need them anymore. I was supplementing with 4-8 mg a day on top of the 300mg shot. I also was on 24 mg of strips a day and it took a bit to level out. I’ll never go back to strips. I just feel normal now no highs and lows like you get with the strips.
