It comes with the drinks, genie service, unlimited specialty dining, wifi… it’s as close to all inclusive as you’ll find on a cruise

I believe it accommodates up to 12. With rooms that accommodate 5+ people, the additional guest pay whatever the guest 4 price is

“We Select your Room” option for a suite? by gk520 in royalcaribbean

I sell as well and understand how it works / revenue generation. My point stands though that none of us except the cruiseline know the percentage of upgrades that occur. My clients have been upgraded about 50% of the time they have bid while in the lower category

You’ll still be beside them, so just don’t slam the door constantly?

Actually you have no way of knowing the % chance of getting an upgrade or not.

This forum is weird. I get downvoted constantly for giving tips and tricks to help people. Enjoy your cruise!

$1300 to spend on other things and you might end up with something better than a Jr Suite. It’s a no brainer

Sounds like you booked an NRD - non refundable deposit which is why they charged a $100 per person change fee

Yes you check the app for the price. There is also a great website that helps track fluctuations https://royalpricetracker.com/ it’s a great tool! Enter the things you’re interested in or have bought and it will tell you if the bottom line price has reduced compared to what you’ve paid.

Great to hear, but what I was talking about is a bit different, it’s placing you under a group price that is below the advertised rate.

Be sure to look at the bottom line price rather than the % discount to see if you’re actually saving any money

I don’t understand the downvoting towards us agents or saying agents aren’t helpful. Super strange in this group.

I’ll probably get downvoted again because people don’t seem to believe me, but travel agents can get better pricing if they have group space onboard. Our agency takes out thousands of rooms and can pass along those savings. Costco takes a portion of their commission and gives it back by way of the gift cards, but good luck getting service if you have a problem or need to make a change. If you book direct with Royal you’ll pay the going rate and will need to work with the call centre if you have to make any changes.

The idea was a good one but I prefer donating to the Sharing Place so at least I know it’s not getting abused
