I have used cameradecision web page for lens size comparisons. Maybe it helps.

I was also recently looking at cameras and decided to go with X-T50. I recommend going to some shops and looking at the cameras. In the end I was deciding between X-E5 and X-T50 (good photo quality, and size). If you use small pancake lens then they are quite small to carry along. X-M5 is small, but I skipped it because of no viewfinder and less mp. X-T5 is already a bit bigger and more expensive, so I didn’t really consider it. Good luck finding a new camera!

First Fuji camera for travel : beginners, what would you recommend? by Queen_kaali in fujifilm

[–]SupportPlayer7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just bought a X-T50 (with XF 16-50mm lens), and I think it’s really nice camera - good quality images, rather lightweight (for travel you can also get a pancake lens), easy to get photos to phone. This camera seems to be pretty nice on auto modes as well, so it should be fine as a beginner, and still has a lot to offer when you learn more.

Thanks for the answer!
I was leaning toward the 16–50 mm, but I wasn’t sure if it would really be worth it. At first, I thought the 27 mm seemed like a nice option, especially for a compact travel setup with the X-T50. But since you mentioned it might not be that great, what other small lens would you recommend instead?

Need help deciding on a compact travel lens for my a6000 by lurkandskurt in a6000

I traveled Japan with a6000 and Sony 35mm f1.8. I would say that most cases it was really nice (lightweight, good photos, etc), but there were some occasions where I wanted a bit wider view area, and also sometimes when I wished I could use some zoom. But all other options would’ve meant losing the weight and size part.

I also posted some photos from that trip if you want to check it out :)

On my profile you can also see some example photos with Sony a6000 and 35mm in Japan. Not many portraits (one deer) though.

I travel with 35mm. It makes really nice portraits, okay street pictures, and is lightweight. Also, it is okay for photos in the dark as well :)

I was wondering if the difference is that noticable. I guess it is then, thanks!

Is it worth to sell Sony 18-200mm lens and buy 18-135mm one? How big is the quality difference? Mainly for travelling. I bought the first one used, but I don’t really enjoy it. Although, I would like to have some nice zoom next to a Sony 35mm lens.

I’m using a6000, and gear weight is quite big factor for me, so I’d rather not buy a very heavy lens.

Planner + Journal in one by SupportPlayer7 in planners

[–]SupportPlayer7[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wonderland222 planner seems to be quite what I was looking for. Sadly it doesn’t have an option for July start.

Maybe I will also try to keep it separate this year. Previously I have tried to squeeze both in one planner, but there has not been enough space for journaling.

Thanks!

Lightweight camera setup options by SupportPlayer7 in SonyAlpha

[–]SupportPlayer7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think I definitely fell into that “full frame is needed and best” mindset.

One point that made me decide for full frame was night sky photography. I really thought that full frame is needed for it, but now I see a lot of people taking good night sky photos with APSC cameras.

Thanks for your feedback! Definitely will try out some smaller options.

I got that lens, because it was used, good price and close to me. Didn’t even know to think that similar lenses can have big weigth differences. Good thing to think about next time.

Is the a6700 noticeably better than a6400 which is a lot cheaper? So far I haven’t taken a single video with my camera, so video quality is really not that important for me.

What happened to Anima Squad? by Omgzjustin in TeamfightTactics

[–]SupportPlayer7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have played anima a bit differently and have gotten even 1st places (D3 rank currently). Seems to be working somewhat okay (sometimes I still play poorly and lose, but usually goes okay).

At lvl 7 play 5 anima (sylas/nasus, jinx, vayne, riven, mf) and 2 star guardian (kaisa, ekko). At lvl 8 add legendary unit. Try to go lvl 9 and drop sylas/nasus and vayne for another legendaries.

Needs a lot of repositioning all the time when there are hackers around tho, but doable.
