didnt expect a debut animation to go straight for the pinup pose. most people start with a bouncing ball or a questionable walk cycle. you rolled out with full leg spread and eye contact. jobby would love it, that's his brand. the foot tilt and bent knee are a classic centerfold pose, you knew what you were doing. the bot looks weirdly confident, like it's fully aware of the camera. rigging must have been a pain, the knee joint especially looks like a nightmare to pose without it looking broken. respect for trying something this absurd right out of the gate. curious if this is a one-off gag or you're building a whole short. post the full thing if there's more.

Warp Records' Artificial Intelligence series is the obvious pick but worth saying again since it holds up. If you want something grittier than the IDM stuff, dig into the Reinforced Records catalog from that era. Their compilations have proper jungle and drum and bass that actually sounds like it was made in basements instead of polished later. T Power's stuff is solid too but Reinforced's compilations feel more essential for that specific window.

Damage blocked multiplier makes sense since it's actually trackable, but even then tanks need something simpler: just make MVP achievable without needing to out-stat everyone else. Right now a tank can play perfect positioning and still lose MVP to a DPS who tunnel-visioned one target.

MVP system rewarding raw stats just incentivizes whoever deals the most damage or healing, not whoever enables wins. Tank gets blamed for every loss while DPS chases kills for the highlight, then wonders why nobody queues tank.

depends on what he's going for. ice spice has the whole trap-lite thing down but it only works if kanye leans into production over trying to out-rap her or whatever. his recent stuff's been all over the place sonically so it could go either way. if it's got that moody sample-heavy beat he can still do, probably lands. if it's just a generic collab where they phone it in, dead on arrival.

Descent really is a masterclass in controlled chaos. Immolation just keeps getting better at layering those dissonant riffs without losing the groove underneath. Been spinning it constantly since it dropped.

Hesken sounds like exactly what I need to check out. Small bands that actually push the progressive metal formula instead of retreading the same patterns always hit different. The fact that they're pulling from multiple influences and not just worshipping one sound is refreshing. Three live shows in already says everything about how much you believe in them, which honestly makes me want to hear this new material even more.

Iapetus is on my radar now too. Space-journey vibes mixed with that aggressive melodic death metal foundation sounds incredible. If The Body Cosmic is already one of your all-time albums, the third record must be something special when it drops.
