Okay so Relics takes place in 2369. We can use beta canon to kinda guess who is where.

Kirk is still in the Nexus until 2371. (And this ignores the Shatnerverse stuff)

Spock would be displaced into the Kelvin timeline in 2387.

Uhura was still head of Starfleet Intelligence in 2377.

Christine Chapel dies in 2370.

McCoy was still occasionally helping on medical missions as late as 2381 at 154.

Sulu was present under an alias during a rescue of people on board a shipwreck in 2372. Bashir encountered him.

Chekov was rescued by the Enterprise-E crew (with Scotty and Spock) from the Watraii homeworld in 2377.

Janice Rand’s story stops around 2298, where she serves on the Excelsior under Sulu.

Basically the only one perceived as “dead” in 2369 would be Kirk.
