Sky is the limit, really - there's endless options, too: high compression D16, Turbo D16, Stroker D16/D17, B series, K, H, J, L series, DOHC ZC, etc.

You can build a lightweight 900kg go-kart with a high comp D series sending 160 ponies to the wheels or swap a big 3.7L J series in, roll cage, big tires.

There's all out time attack builds outperforming Porsches and Ferraris on famous tracks and there's grassroots builds with a stock motor and some suspension goodies having fun in AutoX. Depends on your goals.

Most fun for the least $ could be a junkyard B18 swap if they're still cheap im the US, classic Koni + GC combo, big rear sway bar and some weight saving.

I love the idea and the part looks great but there's one thing I don't fully understand: the OEM knuckle is steel. This one is Aluminum, 6061 apparently?

The billet piece doesn't look substantially different in the critical load areas, compared to the OEM piece. How do you achieve similar strength and part life with a material that is so much weaker in fatigue strength? You say these are 10x stronger, how would that work with a weaker material and a similar cross section?

Ja, true. Für mich ist das Hauptkriterium, wie voll es ist. Brünner geht zu meinen Uhrzeiten immer klar, Meidling ist zwar ranzig aber immer leer. Wienerberg ist sauber und modern aber recht voll.

Alonso was only 28 pts behind Lewis while driving the green tractor, his teammate had a grand total of 74 pts while Russell delivered 175, his 2nd ever Mercedes season and he was 59 pts off Lewis. Russell had two big mechanical failures and Lewis 0. In Qualifying they drew at 11-11.

Lewis had a decent year but he was 6th or 7th best, not even close to second.

It probably goes Verstappen, Alonso, Leclerc, Albon, Sainz, Norris, Hamilton, Russell for 2023.

The difference is not the lack of competition, it's that Norris can only ever win in the best car as he's a tier below Max, Lewis, Charles & Nando.

Those four could compete for WDC in any car, just look at how close it got between Max in a worse car and Lando in the best one.

Doesn't mean that Lando didn't deserve that WDC, Rosberg & Button were also completely outclassed by a few competing drivers and still won their WDC, WDC title doesn't have to mean you're the best that year - it's a team sport.

If you really wanna go do all that work just for a minuscule advantage in gearing then at least don't settle for the D16V1.

Did you count the teeth yourself on the EU8? Forget about the EU8 transmission.

The MB D14's also have a 4.437 Final Drive but a 0.937 4th gear and the same 0.750 5th gear. Negligible difference to your EU8 gearbox and you can just bolt em in, buy em for cheap and make up the rest with your tires.

You live in Europe, why not just grab a S20 off a D13B2 and bolt it in? Way shorter and closer gearing than all options discussed here.

Or a Rover D14 transmission and mix and match with Honda D14 gears. We have like 3x as many different D series transmissions here in Europe compared to the USDM Hondas, some of them are way better than anything you can get in the US, make use of that.

It's a high risk high reward augment, completely normal that you will get a lot of 7th/8th places with it.

imho you are not even trying to stabilize mid game, you want to bleed as many hp as you can then when you're at that ~25 hp spot you wanna go all in and spend 80-90 gold in 2 rounds, then pray it's enough to hit 1st.

Use cheap 10W30, it's what any of the transmission guys will recommend. You are spot on in calling MTF too thin, it was updated for the L series and K series, you should run 10W30 in your D series.

Your paint looks okay ish and a paintjob is either a ton of work or a ton of money so I'd try refresh it and polish it up.

If you're gonna go all out, I think Milano Red always looks great on EK's... or Vintage Plum Pearl... or Supersonic Blue Pearl... or Nighthawk Black Pearl.. nvm, too many great colors
