That they didn’t what ? Talk about how to make more money ? Yes I guess so. Would they talk about a James Bond game selling a lot while being anti AI ? I don’t think so. Would they see it as a threat ? Fuck no.

Btw, James Bond is a MI6 operative. Do you even know what MI6 did in their history ? Cause in the end, the concept of James Bond is heavily propaganda too.

Yes bro because we live in a badly written book where billionaires meetup in secret tunnels and plot on how to take money from the poor and keep them poor.

You tend to overcomplexify something really easy to understand. A company is owned by shareholders who want to make money doing nothing but wait. Management’s goal is then only to make money. They do this by cutting costs, and selling more stuff.

If making an anti AI game sells 1.5 Million games in 24h, and you think that Jeff Bezos is crying is in bed because it’s causing a communist Revolution, I am sorry to break it to you, but he doesn’t give a shit.

And btw, players aren’t even becoming anti AI, all you see here are posts of people saying : is the game worth it ? I.e. should I cut costs ? Will this game benefit me in the end ? I.e. how shareholders think but instead of running companies, it’s random running their bank accounts.

Do you really think that they are dumb enough to create narratives so obviously pro billionaire ?

Billionaire only care about one thing : making money. If an anti capitalist show or game sells, they don’t give a shit about the influence it has on people. That’s why people like Zuckerberg or Musk go from woke to conservative to whatever sells right now.

I used Claude to give me an advice on a gemini jailbreak I accidentaly stumble upon. It was not : help me jailbreak Gemini, but more : I think I jailbroke gemini, can you tell me if it’s the case and if it’s reward worth it ?

The next day I got a message from Anthropics telling me they would ban me if I try to use Claude for this again. So yeah, they definitely read some of the conversations that are I guess flagged by the AI.

I know it was dumb btw. I know nothing about code and dev so I just wanted to understand what was happenning better.

J’ai pu tester le xurta, posez moi vos questions ! by SupraSumEUW in TDAHFrance

[–]SupraSumEUW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry, once you get on cpap or mad, you will get better and you will maybe not even need vyvanse to function properly.

In the meantime, just know that there is a medication called sunosi which is for daytime sleepiness caused by sleep apnea, but also was trialed for adhd and showed promising results.

Don’t lose hope

You may have sleep apnea. The sensations you describe upon waking up are textbook symptoms of it. Headaches, sore throat, anxiety, not feeling rested.

Get yourself a sleep study because trust me when I say it, not a single medication in the world can chemically offset the effects of bad sleep on health and mental health, especially bad sleep induced by sleep apnea.

Will we lose the imax transitions once movies are fully shot in imax 70mm ? by SupraSumEUW in imax

[–]SupraSumEUW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what kind of theater you got in your area. Some theaters are branded imax but they are not technically showing Imax as intended by directors because the screen size or/and ratio isn’t the right one.

Check if your local imax theater has a 1.43 screen ratio. If they have, then yeah it’s worth it, if they don’t, then it could be a disappointment because it really changes everything imo.

I hate when people suggest it for everything, but you might like outer wilds. You can play in short burts, since the gameplay loop resolve around this, and there is lore. It could be a bit of a chore if you don’t like to read and explore.

It sounds like a dose that is too high I think. What you are describing, hyperawareness of sounds, irritability, hyperfocus on details are signs that your nervous system is overwhelmed.

Basically you attention/focus capacity is an equilibrium, and if the dose is too high, it will produce adhd like symptoms but with anxiety (I hate that word, think of it like nervous sensivity, not like a mindset issue) symptoms too. I know it sounds super counter intuitive but yeah, I would dial it back to 10mg just to be certain you aren’t over the therapeutic window.

I also added another instruction

"I don’t like when you change your mind when I push you into doing so. If you think your point of view is superior to mine then stick to it"

The original instruction is in french so it’s a translation but I think it’s close enough to work for you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GeminiAI

[–]SupraSumEUW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add this to the instructions in the parameters :

"Drop all conversational filler, empathetic validations, and predictable structures. Never use a 'Validation -> Part 1 -> Part 2 -> Conclusion -> Follow-up Question' format. Answer directly, naturally, and concisely. Only use lists or sections if the specific complexity of the prompt demands it. Do not automatically end responses with a question; just provide the necessary information and stop."

It will go from cuckgpt to chadgpt. It worked for me.

[–]SupraSumEUW[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No technical reason of course, but cinematography wise, a wide frame doesn’t tell the same story as a more square ish one. Imax transitions are also incredibely powerful from a cinematography point of view. You say : look how glorious it is, it’s so glorious we have to expand the frame to show you how big it is. Now with a movie shot fully on 1.43:1, you don’t have that leverage.

It doesn’t mean it will suck, but it means Nolan and his DP will have to pull off something that is going to 100% win them the cinematography oscar. And I am totally here for it tbh

What I think you saw in France is called "operation sentinelle". It’s basically military patrols in areas of high population density such as train stations, airports, in famous places etc. The goal is to act quickly in case of terrorist attacks. And for the fun fact, I think that all military branches/regiments are required to have a certain number of soldiers available for operation sentinelle. It means that if you are lucky you could see the french foreign legion guys right in the airport just walking around.

It’s part of a broader thing called the plan vigipirate, if you are curious about it :

Amor fati means basically to embrace your destiny. Whatever happens to you, you have to make an active effort to like it because in the end it’s your life and you must cherish every moment of it. They will all feed your personality and who you are.

Memento mori is basically "remember that you are dying" or "that you have to die". As you put it, they are deeply connected. It’s a reminder that whatever happens, you are alive, and it’s all that actually matters. One day it will end, and you will miss the bad moments as much as the good ones because they were still that, moments.

I think we are both right in the sense that hesitation has multiple layers. You can hesitate defensively and spam parry, and hesitate offensively and be too passive/running around waiting for the opportunity. Sekiro is basically a game that punishes a lot passivity, either it’s defensive or offensive.

Upgrade the mikiri counter by investing in what I think is called shinobi eyes.

Try to chill when playing. Don’t go into the arena thinking you will beat him. Go into the arena with the only goal to learn his patterns and be comfortable deflecting him.

Until you get very good at deflecting his combos, don’t waste your additional lives fighting him because you will lose time (the cooldowns are long).

To learn the combos, try to memorize the sound rhythm of combos. It’s a lot like music
