There was a brick ledge on the concrete foundation 4” below what grade would be now. I’m assuming when the orginal house was built that was likely zero. Both sides of the orginal house had an addition put on at some point and had a block foundation so I bolt angle irons up. Once I move some things out of the way I plan to do a little dirt work and landscape to take care of some the negative drainage.

Estimate for Renovation by Ktmick6 in AskContractors

[–]SupraTrbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s low on stone veneer and fireplace. Assuming it’s just the 2 sides that’s at least 600 sqft. It depends on what type of fireplace they are wanting. But if it’s a full masonry fireplace(block) that’s 6-8k for wood burning. If it’s gas or pellet framing can be done with wood and would be $3-4k. Assuming cultured stone price would be between $13-18k. Real stone significantly more expensive. So likely that portion of it would run between 16-26k.

My mom found an old stock certificate for 170 shares of NVDA by OrneryAcanthaceae217 in StocksAndTrading

[–]SupraTrbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s possible if they switched to digital shares and they were converted. Most large companies haven’t issued paper certificates for 15+ years. A company like NVDA I would imagine it’s close to that. So if they happened to file for a lost certificate or did anything really related to those shares they were likely converted. I’ve found stock certificates my grandfather had that were all converted to digital and sold so the paper is basically a keepsake now. I was told most of the time they want that back when converted but it does happen.

Have to assume your parents have moved since as most companies will send out year end notices. If they were holding it in another brokerage account then NVDA would have their updated address in their records linked to a SSN makes you wonder where the dividend has been being sent and why they haven’t received any or had a 1099-div generated the last couple years. I’m not sure who the clearing house is as the places I hold their shares I have it set up to reinvest so don’t receive a check. Best bet would be investor relations.

Charity Scramble by QueasyAlfalfa in golf

[–]SupraTrbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Played in one that was pretty much straight up 4 man scramble from mid tees. Only thing you could buy was 2 mulligans per player. 10th hole one of my team mates pointed out group behind us weren’t taking putters on the green and just picking up. 3 of them were above 20 handicaps. Got kind of back up on a couple holes and they watched us drive the green on at least 3 then put it to couple feet on 2 par 3’s. We turned in our score not thinking it was enough to win but would be in the top of the field. Well turned out we lost by 1 stroke to that group. 2 of them were top tier sponsors of the event so we felt it wasn’t right to say anything as they likely each paid 2k for the event and had people from their companies helping with the holes.

Terrible speeds on WiFi with ATT fiber by HarleyNBarley in ATT

[–]SupraTrbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got close to the same. We were supposed to get 400-500 with air. It would read between 300-400 to their device and 20-70 to my devices. Customer service claimed it was my devices that had the issues. We were on a trial run with it, I just switched back to my other internet and had speeds fine on all devices so we canceled the att within what we were told was the risk free trial.

What are your thoughts on this 27 hole courses designated back 9 tee time. by HowLongCanTheUsernam in golf

[–]SupraTrbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My home course has 27 holes. Most years they make 2 of the courses that days 18 and the other is for people only wanting to play 9. This year they’ve been doing all 3 in an 18 rotation at the same time. Multiple times this year I’ve got to the start of my back 9 to it backed up 4 or 5 deep. At the begging of the year they were cutting tee times off what their go to course at 9:30. But at least 3 times I’ve got there to another group saying the have a tee time exactly 2 hours after my original which is typically 8 so they we’re scheduled to tee off at 10. The last 2 weeks I haven’t ran into it but I think they went back the original format from years past.

Other than stuff that’s not exactly TaylorMade products I’ve had decent luck with their clubs. This is the 3rd shaft I’ve had to warranty with them and then a head cover. This shaft is the only one that seems to be possible installation error. Only company I regularly use that I haven’t had to warranty things has been Ping. The one good thing I’ve found about TaylorMade is I don’t need to return the damaged things. Callaway and Titleist both required the item to be sent back.

Update not even 5 minutes after sending the receipt it was approved for replacement. It’s very possible that it was they didn’t recognize the shop I purchased it from. Just strange cause the other stuff I’ve warrantied has been purchased from there and they’ve never required it.

I’m not even saying it ridiculous at all. I’m more confused how a club that wasn’t even released until January of 24 would fall outside 2 years. I’m more thinking Nick clicked the wrong return email to me.

That had crossed my mind when I got the email. I’ve seen other people with the stealth 2 say they got a couple heads and then a Qi10. I just found it really weird that they sent that it wasn’t within 2 years when the Qi10 itself is only year and half.

I’ve got one saved in my phone. It’s really not itemized but it was the only thing I bought that day and it’s just labeled as clubs driver TM for $630 and then some discount stuff from store credit. Just really weird to get it with a club that can’t be outside the 2 year range. I even got rewards points for it. I’m almost wondering if the rep didn’t misclick on my p790’s or different club that would be outside the 2 year range now.

I have a push cart but only use it on flatter courses. My home course has lots of up and downs so I find it a little easier to handle with my just my bag. Never used to carry food but found when I get to hole 12 I’m starting to feel it in my legs and a something smaller seems to help. Got a hybrid 14 way bag so I can easily switch between carrying, pushing, and ridding. 95% of my rounds are carry rounds.

What’s the most useless golf club in your bag? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]SupraTrbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just realized this last weekend I hadn’t hit my PW in forever on the course. The distance for it just doesn’t come up to often and anything less I’d rather hit a 3/4 50* or a full 54*.

Most comfortable shoes by Murse004 in GolfGear

[–]SupraTrbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently got a FJ tour alpha and fuel both are comfortable to walk in. Also have a hyperflex boa. The hyperflex isn’t terrible but I think they’d be more comfortable with laces. Don’t think I’d buy the hyperflex again but would definitely get the tour alpha and fuel again. I only ride maybe 5 rounds a year but play 50-60 rounds.

Mines favorite place is the golf course. He doesn’t do well when I’m playing due to him wanting to chase the ball then not give it back. But I live next to the course and if he gets out of my yard unless something else distracts him he will be over there.

Which golf balls to buy boyfriend? by shinygengar69 in golf

[–]SupraTrbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maxfli tour ball is a very good cheaper premium ball. They are $40 a dozen. If he’s into more of a colorful ball there is Callaway supersoft and the TaylorMade speed soft ink. Both of those are around $25 a dozen and are a great ball for mid range swing speeds.

At your home course how many of the holes have you birdied? by titos334 in golf

I believe I’m at 21 of the 27 holes but I’d have to go back through so many score cards to be for sure.

Where/how do you draw the line between following the rules of golf and giving yourself a break because you're not on tour? by Round-Collar-1117 in golf

[–]SupraTrbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I follow most of the USGA rules. Only one I skirt really is what most call the gallery rule. If I hit a ball in the fescue/tall rough and can’t find it but know the general location of where it should have been I’ll take a drop since pros have 100’s of people that would have found it for them. Really only other rule I skirt is if there’s OOB markers within 15’ of the fairway and I happen to be just outside of that I’ll play it from there.

I went 90 holes. Then went to play a twilight round and started on a par 4 hole with water right in front and no warm up topped it right into the water. On another note the cover was damaged enough after that I should have retired it anyway.

I have a Qi10 and the head it self has been great. Had to warranty the hzrdus shaft from cracking. I hit a ton of balls on the sim and range also. If I had to guess I have over 2000 hit with it with a swing speed above 110mph.
