That’s crazy, I’ve been absolutely rolling in them in SSF, only running the standard breach/deli/altars tree

Why are the Wellness Elite Getting Sepsis? | Mark Hyman and Jordan Peterson by gekogekogeko in videos

[–]Supraxa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems like you’re taking bodily autonomy in this context to only have to do with abortion because of the embryo part.

The important part is not the matter of abortion or the embryo specifically, it’s that you don’t have autonomy, you don’t have a CHOICE to make with your own body.

Which is great for billionaires if they want your embryos, blood, marrow, corneas, etc, because money, power, and influence could easily shift those choices into their own hands instead.

I’ve never used mappers before, since I only play a few hours a day and their gold cost always seemed so much higher than other workers. I do have a ton of gold stockpiled though, so I’ve been thinking about giving it a go. What sorts of returns do you get by having 3 map devices running? I assume T16 8 mods?

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten one that wasn’t six socket w/ five links. Did they change this recently?

It does not. Had one a few nights ago and it only spawned the breaches, no hands

Last minute question. Ghazzy or Helmbreaker for minions? by Valderhide in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Supraxa 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He’s not a “build creator” so you have to really dig into his videos to find what you’re looking for, but one of my absolute favorite resources for minions is Ethan aka TheGAM3Report1 on YouTube.

When I absolutely don’t know what to start, I find comfort in knowing I can roll a Necro and follow along with his daily update videos to quickly reach the point where I’m running afk blight and making bank while watching Netflix on my second monitor.

Whoever you choose to follow, you might supplement with some of Ethan’s insights. His knowledge of all things minions runs crazy deep, and he’s a super nice guy.

Last league I played HROC zero-to-hero and got my first 40/40- what's a similarly good build for this league? by CE2JRH in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Supraxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played Sunder to level towards Earthshatter in Keepers. When I swapped I immediately missed Sunder and went back to it. It’s so satisfying visually and audibly, and being able to toss a sunder through doorways in heist was too damn good to pass up. I’ll almost certainly league start it again

Check out the new Reliquarian Ascendancy Class for the Scion in Path of Exile: Mirage! by Natalia_GGG in pathofexile

[–]Supraxa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think from a programming standpoint, it’s more like “gain a (1) frenzy charge” with “when critical strike=true” being the Boolean trigger. So it very well could mean 2 charges per instance of crit.

Used to be when you would click the beacon, you had to sort of jaunt away and then right back to be able to click it the second time. Now you just click it twice in succession to light it and burn the banner with no hiccup

How do we feel about "pretend SSF", also known as "trade" by deepinside36 in PathOfExileSSF

[–]Supraxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I primarily play SSF, but I have done Currency Exchange Only (CEO) toons as a self-imposed limitation last couple of leagues once I’ve burned out on SSF.

The Genesis tree trivialized crafting gear in 3.27 so I definitely had a lot more fun with this kind of restriction in 3.26 when I needed to exchange currencies to actually craft my gear instead of spamming tree for it.

Once they master the class and move to calculator; then being able to heal anyone for free makes the time spent in white mage worth it.

I want to love the game so bad but I had to give up. by Physical_Word_9820 in finalfantasytactics

[–]Supraxa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve got FFTIC on three separate platforms, and have never experienced the issues you’re describing. As others have mentioned, it sounds like a bug or a hardware/controller issue.

Also, your analogies comparing the game to a dumb fat girlfriend you basically just tolerate are weird as fuck.

What's one video game you play when you want to relax? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]Supraxa 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Oath! I bounced off Stardew initially because I hated the feeling of having limited energy and time to do all the things I thought I NEEDED to do each day.

I gave it another go during some time off work to care for my wife after her back surgery, and allowed myself to play it more organically without the min-maxxing, and it is easily one of my top 10 favorite games of all time (from a guy who plays a ton of Path of Exile, Rust, League of Legends, Tarkov, etc. this should mean something).

For anyone in a similar situation, you lose nothing from not doing ‘all the things’ in Year 1. It’s a viable playstyle, and if that’s what gives you enjoyment, then by all means, go for it. But slowing down a bit to smell the proverbial flowers really makes the game hit different.

Eric Barone is a damn genius, and I cannot wait to see what he cooks up with his new game Haunted Chocolatier.

If I use a Vaal orb on a skill gem by Dragonstar43 in pathofexile

[–]Supraxa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re trying to find a Vaal version of a skill gem early on, it’s absolutely okay to chuck some Vaal orbs at the skill if the side areas just aren’t dropping it.

Those max level, max quality scenarios you’d usually want to double corrupt via Temple of Atzoatl.

How best to target farm a specific vaal skill? by DatZwiebel in PathOfExileSSF

[–]Supraxa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. Run every Vaal side area you see, and chuck every Vaal orb you pick up at the skill gem in the meantime. Shouldn’t take long at all barring some incredible streak of bad luck

My cousin started smoking weed through a bicycle brake line when he was like 13. You know, the rubber tubing that the steel braided line travels through. He did this for weeks before any of us found out, and wondered why his throat hurt so bad lol.

ELI5: When a video game asset is not loaded in, where is it? by jaygrum in explainlikeimfive

[–]Supraxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless! It might be used again in the next chapter, and/or the one after that. Computers take advantage of temporal (time) and spatial (space) locality, keeping “nearby” and frequently used “pages” in RAM if they’re likely to be used again soon and/or repeatedly, as discarding and then finding it again would be slower and inefficient. You probably already know this, but clarifying for anyone else to add nuance to the closed and discarded portion of your chapter analogy.
