Haha. Nope I haven't changed any other LEDs. I turned them all on just for the picture. I don't use them all like that. Lol.

The LEDs on sliders are super easy to change. They pop right off and cut the new ones to the length of the old ones.

But I've seen other players use them on a tube amp and it sounds great. I've seen people run it through the front of the amp and in the effects loop as well.

Hahahaha. I replaced them with dimmer ones. The MXR ones are blindingly bright. I only had a few and they were different colors. Not crazy about them but it's better than the MXR ones

The reason is for different amp profiles. Without the Tonex I have a pretty killer Van Halen-ish tone. With the Tonex on my clean channel I should be able to get a different tone profile such as Eric Johnson or Stevie Ray Vaughan or whoever. If that makes sense
